Southside Bank

The app would not let me login due to it “updating” however the App Store says it has not been updated in 4 weeks. I have had to inconvenience myself multiple times last year to change my password because the app is very low quality.

Great app until an update this last year where you cannot focus the camera when making mobile deposits. Additionally I’ve yet to successfully deposit a check with the new system where you have to write “For Mobile Deposit Only for Southside Bank” even with my girlfriend printing it out that specific part.

Easy to use. Like that details are available at a click. Auto transactions seem to be done on the date intended.

What more could I ask for?

It’s a pretty good app. It does what you need. Like all big banks it is a trade off. I hate that it will not let you reuse nicknames. Takes way too long to get one not used. As most things today it does what “they” want it to do and need it to do. It is certainly nothing special, the bank either. I would not recommend the bank or the app, but am too lazy to move to a smaller, more home town local bank like used to be. In 2024 I will say the same thing. I am just too lazy to change banks. SS is nothing special, but is adequate.

I have always had problems keeping my current password. Every time I call the customer service is awesome and helps me every time. I greatly appreciate Granberry Southside bank. Thank you, sincerely Tisha Fowler.
