Just simple classic spacies and it plays well

Super fun super retro!

I really enjoy playing this game, it’s perfect for passing a bit of time. I miss playing Space Invaders Infinity Gene on my iPhone, please update it to work on current devices. Also it would be fantastic if there were more Space Invaders games available for iOS, please bring more Space Invaders games to the App Store, that would be fantastic!!!!!! Space Invaders Extreme would be perfect for iOS. Space Invaders PS1 and Super Space Invaders would also be fantastic for iOS. Please bring Space Invaders Extreme, Space Invaders PS1 and Super Space Invaders to iOS. Also please bring back Space Invaders Infinity Gene to iOS. Keep up the good work.

SPACE INVADERS is a fun game but it lags a the following things go through the your barricades

There are a few minor gripes I have with this app that prevent me from liking it as much as I want to. Space Invaders is simply a classic video game, and the ability to play it pixel-perfect on my phone is something I have longed for for a while. I know that this app has been around for a long time but I’ve only just found it thanks to it being pushed down the the list of results when Space Invaders is searched for on the App Store. Now, this game is definitely playable on a phone (I myself am using an iPhone SE, so all of my problems come from my experience with the app on that specific device), but the on-screen controls can be rather clunky at times, especially the ‘shoot’ button, which I sometimes do not know whether I am pressing it or not. For me, it’s a toss-up between the button controller and the joystick as to which one is the best for controlling the little spec of pixels, with the former unfortunately having the same problem as the shoot button. Maybe an update could increase the size of the buttons? Little spec of pixels also brings me onto my next issue; the actual size of the game area. In the provided screenshots, it seems to fit the entire width of the screen (and is appropriately scaled horizontally), but on my phone, there are wide black bars either side of the game, with a subsequently even larger empty space above and below. If there ever was a new update for this app, the aspect ratio of the game is something I would definitely like to see fixing, just to make it more like the screenshots. Lastly is a minor gripe with the design of the app. I realise that this app hasn’t been updated since a year ago and it was released almost aeons back, but the aesthetics of the menus, buttons and even the appearance of the app on the Home screen (named simply ‘INVADERS’, all caps, with a strange gradient on the top half of the ‘space invader’ character) is something that has sadly become rather amateur. This does not sit well with me considering the popularity and overall influence this game has had on our planet, and an update to bring the design ‘up-to-date’ would be welcomed with open arms.

A virtually faithful version of the original game by taito. Unfortunately, due to iOS updates it will now not work on the iPad with the Invadercade- the dedicated ‘cabinet’ sold to compliment this game( with the artwork and decent controls to match) and jointly created by taito and square-enix ! Please bring out an update so I can continue to use it!

Would be even better if it supported icade jr,then it would be 5/5.

This an A1 app in my opinion. The smaller screen size takes a little getting used to, but the controls work well and the format is as close to the original as you could expect for an iOS-based app to be on an iPhone. Bill

This game is ACE !!!! Playability is quality and the old school sound effects top it off perfectly !!! Well worth the money .
