The news and warnings about the geomagnetic storm aren’t showing up in NEWS at all. I was about to do the monthly 99 cents to support the app, but there’s no point if it no longer keeps me current on the news:(

This is my favorite space weather app but the recent update made to how the ads display has completely destroyed it. Now, when trying to navigate to a different page, an ad covers the entire screen and cannot be exited. One is forced to watch an ad of a minute or longer just to navigate to a new screen. I am keeping the app installed for the alerts but I've had to shift back to the browser-based site to use it. The browser version has ads as well but they are placed in a way that makes it still possible to navigate the site. I understand that ads are necessary. I hope this app developer can come up with a solution that accommodates the ads while still allowing users to move around the site.

I have sworn by this app since it’s been out! The best and most informative with straight forward information there is! I’ve learned everything I know from this app and it has helped me see the aurora too many times to count!

I am a very frequent user of this fantastic app and so appreciate the hard work that goes into everything they do. As an Aurora photographer and space weather educator this is must-have. For anyone giving this app a negative rating it’s either because they are too cheap to pay a few bucks to remove the ads or they have no clue what they are looking at and are too lazy to bother to learn. Ignore the negative reviews and take it from me this is the absolute best app going!

Totally new to photographing the auroras but this app has made it possible to know when I can possibly view them in my area. Easy to use and understand (after doing some researching in what everything means). Absolutely appreciate this app.

First I’ll say I absolutely love this app. I’ve been using it for several years now. I’ve shared it with several friends and I think the co tent is really amazing for a free app and it’s even got more content that some paid apps. That being said, the new update that I downloaded caused ads to start playing. I have no problem with ads. I understand people have to make money somehow. But the ads being used are not allowing me to renter the app. I’m having to close the whole thing and go back in. Some of the ads have an “x” to get out of it but most of the time the one playing does not. Are you able to control that? Is there any way for you all to make sure the game ads that just continue to play and have no button to bring me back to the app are not used? It’s really disappointing because this app was always so easy to use before that. Either way, thank you for making such an amazing app! Keep up the good work.

… This app is even better than that! I don’t even have a word for it. On top of which, it’s tracking of and responsiveness to the mega-storm of the past 48 hours were as noteworthy as the storm itself. Best $10/yr of any app subscription I have (~40) and one of the 3 or 4 best apps out of all (300+).

This was a great app- still has good info only that there are many more ads now and they interfere with the operation of the app. I have to shut down and restart it just to continue often because there is no way to navigate back.

The new update brought ads. Understandable, everyone needs income- however- it’s far too many. Every time I try to refresh the app, it’s an ad. Makes me want to uninstall

The one time in 30 years the Aurora makes it to the Gulf Coast and this app fails to mention it nor the NOAA Geomagnetic Storm Warning. Deleting as all you do is send endless alerts about nothing and miss the big things
