I signed up for A year and still bombarded with these political adds an begging for money. I guess there is no way to ever stop them. Thought this was the answer but apparently not. They are still coming through with this app. Went directly to the source and they washed there hands. So next how do you start a class action lawsuit. And canceling this app.
I have been receiving repeat creepy spam from a number that belongs to FathomTel, which (under the name “Unlisted”) provides fake numbers that cannot be traced. This service is used by spammers to mask the number they are calling from. (FathomTel even has an Unlisted app on this App Store.) So when I looked for a spam blocker, my jaw dropped when I saw it was created by FathomTel. Working both sides of the deal. No way I would give $3.99 a month to this company.
It doesn't work at all, it doesn't matter doing exact keywords, same texts still make it through
Very effective at blocking spam. A very well done product that has greatly improved my interaction with my phone. I used to get tons of unnecessary alerts on my phone and now no longer.
I hate spam in any form and Textshield protects me from unsolicited and unwanted messages. Now I hope they make an unwanted call app!

It seems to catch all the spam they’ve thrown at it so far, plus all my codes now go into a special folder so my messages app isn’t so cluttered. Great app!
I’ve been getting so many spam texts recently and I’ve been trying a few apps to stop them. TextShield just works - all of my spam texts were blocked out of my inbox. It also goes one step further than other apps and seems to file away my other bot texts into special sub folders too! Excellent app, and great simple design.
