Speaking Hakka

這是一套學習客語（客家話）的工具。它的資料庫儲存了超過6千個漢字與2萬多個詞語、短句、及諺語。它很容易使用。使用者只需輸入漢字或從音符列表中選取一個拼音組即可進入搜尋。針對每一個漢字或詞句，資料庫提供了字詞的定義、拼音、例句、華語同義詞，以及最重要的，它用客語發聲說出這些字詞。它甚至提供圖片使一些詞語的意義更為清楚。
本工具並不限於客家人使用。它是一套提供給學習研究漢學者的方便且有力工具。眾所周知的，在諸多的漢民族方言中，客語保存了最豐富的漢民族數千年文化資產。
This is a tool for people who want to learn Hakka, an ancient Chinese language still being used today by millions of Hakkas (Guest Family), a major branch of the Han people. The database stores about 6,000 Chinese characters and over 20,000 words, which includes short sentences and slangs. Most of all, it says the characters and words the user can hear. It even provides pictures in many cases to make user more easily to understand the meaning of a word.
This tool is designed to be very user friendly. The user can simply enter a Chinese character or choose a Hakka pinyin note from a list to start searching. For each character and word, this tool provides definitions, sample words, and most importantly, audio pronunciations.
This tool is not designed solely for the Hakkas people. It is a very conventional and powerful tool for those who study and research the history and culture of China. Hakka is the language that retains most of the Chinese history and culture of the past thousands of years.
