Awesome app but...

It would be nice to have a Specties next gesture or don’t allow the menu to be captured in the screen record. Also allow music in the files to be used as part of music selection.

As of now, cool

Great music buddy listening app

Howdoesthiswork? on

I originally had an adorable Hatsune Miku that would dance to my music (Music Girl Miku). It’s an app released by Sega that for some reason Sega had the nerve to kill it, and so I had to search for a new music listening buddy app. 😢 Then I came across this gem. It’s an adorable app that has little critters who’s hair moves and changes color, as well as bobs a bit. It doesn’t really have any definitive dancing like the Miku app where the character(in this app’s case, characters) actually moves around. However, the backgrounds make up for it and change color at the speed and rythm pf your music. Thier hair also changes and moves at the speed and rythm as well. It’s a simple little app, so don’t be expecting whole 3d worlds. But it’s still a great replacement for the lost Music Girl Miku app. Also not free. It doesnt cost much, just a tiny one time fee to get rid of ads. To the app developer of Specties, It could use some improvement. Like a way to add an entire playlist with one click rather than picking each song individually and make it so the characters actually MOVE. I wouldn’t call bobbing in place like a fishing lure dancing. Like you know, give the creatures each thier own dance, like personalities? 😑 Also please make the backgrounds more scenic. The backgrounds are a little blah.

Closest I Could Get

I was looking for a music visualizer that had a character of some sort and well this is the closest I can get. It’s okay, but the ads block the screen it’s quite annoying. I’d prefer if they gave me a 15 second ad between songs rather than blocking the screen. Another issue is that for songs that tend to be distorted, or purposely distorted for artistic effect don’t work super well with this app. Basically don’t use songs that have a ton going on in different sections because it looks a bit weird with the visualizer.

love it
