Speechling: Learn Any Language

I wanted to learn Russian. You gave me a Ukrainian language tutor based in Kiev. I have nothing bad to say about the tutor or the Ukraine. But, such an obviously provocative act indicates poor judgment on your part and belies your priorities. You may be "nonprofit", disappointingly, but you certainly aren't non-political.

This is exactly what I was looking to reduce my Brazilian English Accent. Great application and service.

I have always found speaking a language much harder than any other aspectWorking on pronunciation is such an important thing and it is so difficult to get feedback, especially quick feedback.Speechling is the answer to my problems! It’s always with me on my mobile and so I am more likely to pick it up to have a quick session. I will upgrade soon for unlimited feedback.

Lots of different activities and ways to practice writing, speaking and listening. One thing - I sometimes give incorrect answers because the question is ambiguous - it’s a fault of the English language that so many words have multiple meanings and it’s not clear which meaning the app is looking for. But that’s a minor issue, this is a great resource for anyone wanting to learn a language.

I have been learning French for a couple of years and just have completed the Duolingo course. I wanted to practice my listening and comprehension. This is absolutely perfect for that. “Listening Practice” plays recordings of real people saying random sentences, first in French then English. You can see a transcript if you choose to look at the screen (eg. if you don’t recognise a word) and can pause and replay that sentence if you like. There are loads of other different exercises to choose from as well, which I didn’t explore yet. The app is highly customisable, choosing from at least a dozen ability levels in the language you are learning and translations in En(GB) or En(US). If there are adds I didn’t see any yet. I think I just found my new daily practice app.

Easy to use, intuitive and simplistic. Well done to the speechling team on a great app. I know you’ll continue to improve, but don’t change too much!

It is perfect to learn English

This app is great for helping with pronunciation and I find the listening practise really useful for when I want to learn while going on walks or doing something else at the same time.

I have tried many apps but for Srs and speech this is the best Absolutely amazing

After several years of trying to learn a new language I have finally found a decent, clear and well thought out tool to help out (alongside tutoring and study). Especially good for comprehension exercises and lots of varied exercises makes Speechling a real keeper. Thanks Speechling.
