Spinn

For those of us chained to a 9-5 I’d love to wake up and IFTTT the heck out of my Spinn but to do that I need to leave a mug on the tray overnight. It cleans itself overnight and leaves a bit of used cleaner in the drip tray so I can’t do that. I want to change the cleaning timing to get the most out of the smart features!

This is my go to coffee machine every single morning.

This machine has changed my mornings and how I view coffee in general. Forget the fact that it saves money over a coffee shop, I literally don’t WANT to go to a coffee shop because I know the coffee at home will be better. The app leaves little to be desired and allows you to customize coffee almost in every way imaginable. 10/10

This has been a great machine. the espresso and coffee have been great. I alaways get compliments on how rich the coffee is. Also though this appliance is an investment. The time that I have had it it has paid for itself. I was spending $100 plus on cups a month and the time that I Have had the Spinn it has already paid for self. Love this machine! The new machine looks great as well if anything happens to this machine and I cannot fi I will definitely reinvest. Also the customer service is awesome as well.

Had for 2 years and it works great multiple times a day; mostly I used the Pour Over and Lungo. I keep it maintained, and the one time it broke down Spinn replaced it after a couple weeks. I only use filtered water and briefly rinse the tray daily, so never had a mold smell or water issues.

Despite the app being very well designed, Spinn the company - and the appliances they make - are awful. They are buggy, defective, and break down constantly. While the app reminds you to service the machine, it often breaks immediately after a cleaning cycle, requiring you to mail it in. And their warranty is only 1 year instead if the industry standard 2… I think they shorted it because they know their machines don’t last. Avoid this company like the plague.

No matter how often I clean or descale the machine, or how many clean shots I attempt, I still find large grains of coffee in my cup, and the machine frequently clogs. I backed the first generation machine on Kickstarter and, while I want to love it, it's been a challenging experience. The concept for Spinn is excellent. My wife, a nurse, tries to make her two mugs every morning before her long shift, but she constantly struggles with it. It's not what she needs to worry about before a 12-14 hour shift in Neurology. I hope many of these issues have been resolved with the Spinn 2, but I'm unsure if I'd invest again.

Spinn Eapresso Machine makes some of the best espresso. Have been using it for over a year and love it !

Getting coffee out is just an occasional fun thing to do because nothing beats the Spin coffee at home. Most of the time I’m disappointed by what I get at even the best places. Yasss Spin!
