Best app for the travelling producer!
I use Splice to create stacks while I’m travelling. It’s the easiest way to generate ideas and make quick snippets of music. It is so much easier to use than the desktop app and the website. 10/10 would recommend!
Accessibility issues with VoiceOver
As a blind voice over user, the app gets progressively inaccessible and unusable with time. I’ve had a great experience with the app in the past but in the last one year the app or rather the accessibility of the app has been going downhill not able to locate elements, not able to click to audition samples nothing is accurate and the app is virtually unusable. Kindly focus on accessibility. A little more as splice is starting to get traction from the massive blind community. looking for alternate solutions as this was the only reliable source for samples and sounds for a long time.
Not working
Not working properly on my phone
Such a frustrating experience
Where do I begin with this. First off, the iPad app is extremely limited. I can’t use filters to browse through my downloads to find what I need. I mean are you kidding me? I’ve gotta scroll through countless sounds to find a particular instrument or sample?
The ‘save to files’ option doesn’t work for me. It’s like I’m wasting money.
The desktop app has bizzare behaviour as well.
I’m seriously considering never taking a splice subscription again.
Reality after tweaking
Splice app simply never allows you to have a good experience considering it does random things without our will and we have to redo and find back where we were previously, every 1min. Only reason I wanted it on my mobile was simply because I can save time and work productively when coming to finding samples in your finger tips btw “life”. But if you want something so bad you would try all possibles before complaining, that took me to bookmarking splice on my mobile browser, but it is so slow that my phone becomes an ironing machine. Now I have second thoughts on my part time job becoming a home delivery ironing man. This is simply great, I love it.
Cannot Download Samples
The samples download but they are incomplete or mute towards the end.
Can’t Download Complete Samples on Device
Every time I download a sample and save to device, I don’t get the complete sample. It’s either partial or mute towards the end or mute in between can’t figure out this bug. Please help.
Got serious bugs
I already downloaded it on iPad. When I go to all downloads, or through search it’s again asking for credits. I lost lot of credits by downloading it 2,3 times.
Great app... great service.
Would be 5 stars if it had logic pro for iPad support, just like the presonus studio one integration.
Top Teir!!!
Been useing splice for about 2 years and it just keeps getting better and better !!!!!
