I am re-reviewing this app because it’s even better than ever. I edit all my Xbox clips on my iPhone using this app and I can’t praise it enough. Very easy to use, so many features, and most importantly its FREE! So professionally done, all my clips look really professional now, this app is crazy. Just get it you’ll be so glad you did

I have been using Splice for YEARS, and suddenly today I go to make a video after not using it for a couple weeks, and it won’t let me use half of the features without paying a subscription cost. Do not waste your time with this app anymore. It used to be great, but now it’s just constant pop ups asking for money.

I’ve been using this app for years and I love it but wow, they just literally changed it from free to $40 a month? Are you high???? $40 a MONTH!! Even Facetune only charges $25 a year. $480 a year when Instagram reel makers do it for free… price gouging Shame on them

I bought this before I found out I could’ve been using other products that are free. Also, I’m not happy with the way. The editing function works. It’s hard for me to crop clips and add sound.

I downloaded this app and signed up for a free trial, only used it once. Ended free trial after two days. I got charged $9.99 but it says no subscriptions are active. I got charged for a premium I didn’t sign up for and don’t even actually have the premium. I tried to reach out and could only speak to a bot and customer support through email didn’t help either. I don’t not actively purchase anything from this app but it charged me anyways.

I loved it and used it for years for gaming, family videos and so much more until now when splice hasn’t been letting me open a new project. No problem, I deleted a bunch of old ones, still not working. Cool, restarted phone, nothing. I finally deleted the app and redownloaded it and all of my projects disappeared AND it still won’t load, thank a lot!!! 😡

Best app out there

I actually used to use this app regularly to edit my videos and sorts, but it has gone WAY TOO FAR with the advertising of the pro version. I pressed to see the export options about 3 times within a minute or two for a project, and an advertisement to export in pro popped up EVERY TIME. It even defaults you to export into 4K so that when you go ahead and actually hit the export button, it starts showing you subscription plans. I can no longer change the saturation and exposure and color features of a video without having pro. But I had to instantly uninstall when I found out that any transition you used in your project could only be exported with pro. That didn’t exist two months ago! I was able to use a basic cross-fade in peace! This video editor is way too simple to be demanding about half of its features to be used with pro, so I came to uninstall.
