I really like this app and the service behind it. I consistently find that I’m offered cheaper fares than on competitor sites, it’s easy to use and - as I travel quite a lot - I want all my tickets stored in the same place. The only fee charged is a proportion of the saving achieved from splitting tickets which feels very reasonable. I would love to see the app adjusted to enable people to opt out of a split ticket if they wish. When the saving is small and the train is likely to be busy, I want to prioritise keeping the same reserved seat throughout the journey. This is rarely achieved with a split ticket (for understandable reasons).
It’s fine except that it’s difficult to add more than one railcard for two people who have different railcards.
Better than Trainline and split ticketing by email. Less expensive, excellent layout to obtain your train ticket. Very clear and easy to use. Very thankful I came across this train travel app!

Always previously used Trainline who I can’t fault, but this app is even more impressive and cheaper. I was a little worried that claiming refunds would be difficult but that wasn’t the case. Give it a go!
Having recently purchased return tickets and saved money on them, news broke that there would be several train strikes threatened across various regions. Split my Fare took the initiative and contacted me to say in detail how I would be affected and offered me choices including a full refund as some of our journeys would be impacted. My wife had also emailed SMF about the situation and received prompt and helpful replies. So my experience of your customer service team has been totally brilliant . Thank you very much. Andrew Price
My grandson introduced me to Split My Fare and it has become my app of choice. Highly recommended.
Really good deals on tickets especially for long journeys such as to London or Scotland. One improvement if possible when buying tickets we could know which platforms we will be using. Apart from that it’s a wonderful app
Excellent results was worried about getting the tickets from the machine in N Walsham but it was a dream. Thank you for your help
