Does what it’s supposed to do

It’s an app for a gym. It’s not perfect nor does it have to be. It provides the means I need to sign in at the desk and register for classes.

Newest version wants full access to your calendar

The previous version of the app worked with write-only access, so it was easy to add a class I’d registered for as a calendar item. With the new version, write-only access shows as an option in iPhone Settings, but it doesn’t actually work without full access. There is no good reason for the app developer and/or the gym to have access to everything on your calendar, and it’s really odd that this was added in the update.
