Spot Assist Skydiving Tool

Hi, I've been using your app (iOS/iPhone 8) and I'm very happy with it. I've noticed a few things that perhaps could be improved: 1. In the 'Weather' menu with 'Windaloft'. At the top or bottom of the page I would like to see the date/time that the weather-data was last updated, so I know that I'm looking at current weather-data (in case my internet connection is lost and I'm looking at 'old' weather data) 2. Something strange in the 'Weather' menu. When I look on the page 'Windaloft' at the wind at ground level I see for instance a value of 6 m/s. I would expect to see this same wind speed of 6 m/s at the 'Forecast' page for the current time. But it is never the same. The wind speed on the 'Forecast' page (for the current time) is always different. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? 3. My regular dropzone does not go higher than 10.000 feet. So wind speeds at higher levels are of no interest to me. But at the 'Windaloft' page I always have to scroll down to see the wind at ground level. It would be nice if I could set a maximum height level in the 'Settings' menu, and the 'Windaloft' and 'Forecast' pages would only show me the wind at heights up to my personal maximum height level. So far my suggestions. Thanks for the great app.

this to me is by far the best forecast app, i jump in different dz in a few countries, and it works every time every where. Aand, if you have questions they help you solve them, just hit them an email, congratulations and thank you.

Not sure what happened but the app used to be great. Now they have changed background colors and lettering to white on top of each other so you can barely read anything in the weather section. Also the patter direction stopped working…so you can’t pick a left or right landing direction. Another issue is that the app will not keep your home DZ….randomly the app will think it is somewhere else and when you switch between winds aloft and forecast, I have had it literally switch DZs. I paid for the full version to include everything as well and now they are adding things that need to be paid for…not right to do to existing customers that already purchased the full version.

The cutaway finder worked perfectly in helping locating my parachute. Simple as entering the cutaway location, altitude and date time. It shows the path based on the winds at that time. My parachute was within a couple hundred feet with the last arrow. Thank You!

There was something weird going on with the app. Restarted it and it works as advertised now.

Buy all the features, they’re worth it. It just helps to visualize everything you’re gonna be using while jumping. Lots of great add ons you don’t get unless you purchase. Blue skies y’all!

Like any “application “, take the info with a grain of salt and a generous dose of common sense. I’m still in training, but one of my mentors turned me on to this and I find myself checking it all the time. I’ve worked outdoors all my life and this gives a greater picture of weather and conditions than normal radar. The daily info I received from this program combined with my lifetime knowledge gives me a much better understanding of weather patterns in our area and makes this a very valuable tool.

The program works great. I would like to see it on my computer instead of my phone. My eyes are not 20 years old any longer....

I already paid for features, got a new phone, and now my features are lost.

Does everything is says it does...and does it very well. Intuitive and easy to understand ...for skydivers. (And yes, it’s working again)
