Taking photos
I have successfully used the app to spot the ISS for the first time, so I am happy with the main functionality.
However, the “Capture this moment” function simply takes a screenshot, which is rather pointless as the ISS itself is covered by the icon on the screen.
It would be more useful to be able to take an actual photo, without all the information, lines, icons etc. that are displayed on the screen.
Unable to detect my location
What a waste of time. I didn’t even get to set the app up as it couldn’t detect my location. I tried numerous times but was unsuccessful each time so gave up in the end. I will probably delete it as it’s unusable.
Location doesn’t work
The app can’t find my location when I search automatically, and won’t recognise it when enter it manually. I’ve never managed to get any further than this.
Hangs and does nothing when asking for location
When you press “detect my location “ it does nothing for many minutes, just hangs there whirling
When you enter your location manually, large uk city, post code, absolutely nothing happens
Location detection never completes
I live in Athens Greece and location detection never completes. Entering a location manually seems not to work either. Come on NASA, fix this app.
Location detection fails
I am in the UK and automatic location detection never completes, so I can’t use the app. Manual location entry also fails, as it gives no clue how much location detail I have to provide!
Crashes
On allowing camera access
App exit button
If the ‘globe ‘ icon is an App exit/crash button, it works perfectly. However, if not, it doesn’t!
Crashes when granting camera permission
Crashes when granting camera permission and every time after that when selecting the augmented reality icon.
Nice app but still needs something
The ‘next sighting’ tells you a date but not the time. Next to this has a countdown, so you have to calculate the time. Otherwise you have to click on the next sighting to get the list and then it tells you times. Would be nice if the next sighting button had the time with it too, rather than have to go to the list.
