Språkkraft Reading Coach for Swedish is a free learning app for those who are eager to learn the Swedish language through reading current Swedish media content.

Based on your chosen language level, users can navigate seven content categories between Songs*, Articles, YouTube Videos, Novels, Podcasts and Web sites to further develop their Swedish knowledge and understanding of culture and society.
Songs is an optional feature and requires that you have the Spotify app installed on your device and a valid Spotify account.
The new Simplified articles feature will allow you to adapt a wide range of news articles to your language skill level. Just open the article with the “simplified” icon in reading mode with the magic wand button and then tap the “simplify” article button. Please note that simplification might affect the meaning somewhat. For fact check, always go to the original version of the article.
Main features of Språkkraft Reading Coach include:
* Integrated dictionaries from Swedish to the 30 common immigrant languages in Sweden.
* save words from texts into your personal word list that you can access through your personal learning profile page
* Personal Learning Profile, where the App monitors your learned vocabulary corresponding to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) (levels A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2), offering text markup according to learning relevance (green - known vocabulary; yellow - learn now; red - learn later).
* Gamification both with reading/learning points and activity monitoring where you can set personal daily goals
Reading Coach can also help you master Swedish grammar. When you look up words, it is showing their grammar properties in badges inside the popup. You can tap badges to read explanations for that specific grammar property, or you can read them full-screen and explore the full grammar resource. You can also select a grammar rule in the grammar's Contents, and Reading Coach will find and mark all examples of that rule in all texts that you read.
