Hey, fellow users of Starchive :) I was the one who named this app Starchive. I feel it is a good name for what it is trying to do which is too collect and store every file you’ve ever created and use data to link them all together like star constellations in the night sky. Starchive continues to get better, but there’s still so much to do and improve. It’s using these reviews to give critical and honest feedback. The use cases and issues shared go so far to improving the app and we use it. Personally, I love my Starchive and can’t imagine life before it. I’ve been a serial creator for over two decades, and have everything I’ve ever made a click away is an experience I want everyone to have.

Just trying to upload some pictures off my phone and this app is so terrible at doing the one job that it’s supposed to do, it won’t upload a single picture.

Have started using Starchive for several projects which utilize large amounts of photos and video and am extremely pleased so far. The ability to share across teams, even if they don’t have a Starchive account, is stellar and I am just scratching the surface of the AI search and meta tags. So far so good!

I use this app for so many functions from extra storage space to backing up media and organizing files to create videos. As a student it is SO helpful because I can easily find files based on the day that I uploaded them, key words that are related, or any little piece of information that I can remember. Unlike other file finders this one has a really great search system. I also love creating videos that summarize each year of my college life and this platform enables me to download all of my photo files easily and in an organized way so I can upload them to iMovie or other platforms. Definitely recommend!

I can dump all my photos in and it takes no time! Whenever I want to share them it’s easy to send a link allowing the recipient to download no matter what the size! Love it!

Starchive has made it super easy for safely and easily storing all of my important files, whether photos, documents, audio or video. I really appreciate having everything easily accessible in one place. No more digging through old hard drives or trying to figure out what application I’d pushed it to. I love to swipe through the memories and I’m constantly finding new things that I’d forgotten about. Plus it’s super handy to have and be able to share large files on the go.

This app revolutionized my yoga media business! I can store, manage and curate my work in the cloud and access it from my phone from anywhere! Now that every yoga teacher in the world is streaming online and recording our classes, where can we store all of this media. The Answer is Starchive!!! The Starchive web app let’s me upload classes directly from Zoom so that I can view the recordings on my phone and share them with my students with one easy click. I can even upload my voice memos and publish to my social media accounts. I have always had challenges managing media from my computer. Google Drive and Dropbox do not handle audio and video well. I love Starchive!

Scam! Uploaded my photos to the app and the app deleted my photos and i couldn’t find them. deleted the app and my photos were GONE
