Best States and Capitals learning game!
The cute Hippo is coming back! He will travel all 50 nifty United States, teach the knowledge of all 50 states, and play 10 fancy games with you! Start the amazing exploration by sliding two fingers to zoom in and out and click the shining star.
Hippo will teach you bellows starting with the background music of each State Song.
1. The maps of 50 states.
2. The flags of 50 states.
3. The seals of 50 states.
4. The capital cities of 50 states.
5. The full names and abbreviations of 50 states.
6. The nicknames of 50 states.
Then you're introduced into 10 funny games exploration. Firstly, enjoying 8 games in each state, and the state will be lit after fulfilling the below games.
1. Flag Jigsaw Puzzles. Put the pieces back together to show the 50 States Flags.
2. Seal Slide Puzzles. Click on a piece which is next to the empty space to move it and slide the puzzle pieces into the right spots to complete the 50 States Seals.
3. Spell Name. Click the letters to spell the name of each state. Learn the correct spelling and pronunciation of each state.
4. Spell Abbreviation. Click the letters to spell the abbreviation of each state.
5. Map It. Drag the state to the correct place on the map.
6. Choose Capital. What's the capital of the state? Help the Hippo pick it up.
7. Nickname Rocket. Launch the red rocket by selecting the correct nickname of each state.
8. Nothing to Do with the State. Which picture has nothing to do with the state? The Seal, the Flag, or the State Quarter Coin? Please find it out.
Secondly, the Hippo will show you 2 extra regional games.
9. Map Regions. Drag the states map to the correct place on the map and complete the whole region.
10. Match All. Match all of the pictures including State Flags, State Seals and State Quarter Coins.
In a nutshell, the Hippo will assist you by providing you advice in accomplishing 8 states games. You can turn off the help buttons and customize all games by clicking the Setting button.

Poor spelling

game teaches kids how to spell the state names but spelling isnt correct. For example the game spells Oklahoma as oklachoma

Not educational

Literally all you do is put the puzzles together?? How is that learning! Plus there’s absolutely NO sound and only TWO states then you have to pay! I do not recommend this app.

Disappointed

Sound doesn’t work. Very upset.

Only 2 states available for free.

Just installed this app for my 4 year old last night (10/24/2017). We completed 2 states, tried to start a third, and couldn't. A purchase menu immediately appeared on my screen. I figured that there was a per day limit that you could try before purchase. But I was wrong. We tried to play again this morning, and same result. To access any other activities, we would need to buy the whole game. It would have been nice if that would have been stated in the description. It took 6 minutes for my 4 year old to complete those 2 states. I'm very upset at the fact that somebody could get away with saying something is free and then immediately try to charge you for said free product. App developers should have stated that it's a very limited demo. They should not be allowed to advertise an app or a game as "free", if the entire contents is not free. It should clearly state in the description, or they should just flat out charge for the product. False advertisement and gimmick infringement brings on lots of lawsuits. The only reason why I gave 1 starbis because my child did enjoy it. If not, I would have given 0, because of the limited access and deceptive marketing. Side note: I decided to check out some more of their other reviews and some of their other apps. Low and behold, several other people who gave this app a 5 star review also gave lots of their other apps 5 stars. There is also a pattern in those reviews. They're all written on the same day. Either those reviewers all randomly decided to leave reviews on the same exact day, they are related to or acquainted with the person(s) who created those apps, they're particularly biased towards a brand, or they were paid to leave those reviews. In the best interest of paying customers, Apple should really remove false and deceptive reviews, as well as those developers/creators who falsely advertise their products entirely for free and then immediately try to force you into a purchase.

Waste of time⌚⏳

This app is okay BUT you can only study 2 state and then you have to buy 💸💵 the other 48 states!! I downloaded this app for my little cousin who is in first grade for when she comes over since she likes studying📝👓 the 50 states and I wanted to try it out yo see if it good for her. And it was very frustrating to find out you would need to purchase other states! Im in 5th grade and I won't spend💰 money💸 on apps. THIS GAME WAS A HUGE WASTE🚮 OF TIME⌚

This app is really great! My first graders love it and are learning a lot at the same time!
