After spending months trying to get the A and B units to connect properly, I finally got it to connect after upgrading my router. I was excited to test the app and it simply doesn’t work. It connects to my steamer, but none of the controls work. After a while, it freezes and has to be forced restarted to show the controls again, but they never work. The original app was released 17 years ago and it looks and feels like they never made any updates.

Come on guys, can't you spend a few bucks and get a decent app?

Someone complained about their $6000 setup. Mine has another zero. This is atrocious. I should have just gone full Kohler. Do not get a Mr Steam.

This app is worthless and never loads.

Just installed a 10k Mr. Steam shower. App does not work. Downloaded onto a new iphone 15 and upon login it just does a spinning wheel indefinitely. Could not get any content to load. Very disappointing.

Save yourself the $500 and just walk into the shower. App is poorly designed. You can’t even rename it. Controls are clunky. It doesn’t work when you are not on the same WiFi.

Hello Mr. Steam, You seem to be perfectly comfortable with selling a product that simply does not work for several years. While the steam machine is excellent, the app and connectivity are defective and useless. How about fixing it? This is a well known situation. My authorized installer warned me “the app doesn’t work at all and it’s been that way for years”. If you don’t respond to this review I’m sure I can organize a class action to get your attention.

Spent $4k on the Mr Steam system. App won’t load after creating an account and no support offered.

Doesn’t work often. When it does it doesn’t keep working. The on off button is greyed out. So can’t turn it on most of the time. Have to buy remote to use product

I have to agree with the other reviews, this app is embarrassingly non-functional. It allows control of temperature and timing, and nothing else. it effectively moves the default remote control onto your iPhone. That would probably be OK, if it was responsive at all. Commands can take multiple minutes to reach the steam generator, and are frequently lost. Basic status information, like whether or not the generator is on, only appears to update when the app is force closed and reopened. I cannot imagine why they are selling a system this badly implemented. It’s the sort of thing that makes you question whether the rest of the product is as shoddy as their app.
