Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. It never feels like it wasn’t originally built for mobile. CCG turn-based RPG with a nice story, charming characters and hilarious writing. This game doesn’t want you to take it too seriously. But that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t pose its fair share of challenge. Perfectly suited for mobile - frequent save points, deckbuilding not too overwhelming and light RPG elements. Runs like a dream. No heating and barely any battery drain. My mobile GotY 2020.

I got this game because it was advertised as “deckbuilding”. It is not. It’s just a boring old school RPG.

Great mechanics in this game but bolder serif font that’s 10-11px for reading? 1. No reading type should ever be this small period, that’s an established industry norm. 2. It’s 2023, accessibility issues should at the forefront of your UI design.

Nice art, and mechanics; but game after a 10s ob battles gets really repetitive and feels like a chore...

Horribly balanced. Too hard or too easy. Long been abandoned.

The game has an interesting and daily deep card-driven battle system which merges pretty well with RPG style equipment and level raising. That’s the most important thing, and the game did that element pretty well. But the character art and story were grating for me. That game art is generally pretty solid, but the decisions in terms of the player characters and story… I did not like it at all. They just looked… stupid. Permanently burned-in dumb facial expressions. And, the “tap two fingers to skip” is basically useless. I needed “hold down with two fingers to skip everything”.

Please add support for controllers.
