Poor form, Jack. The gameplay, scenes, obstacles, & graphics are all SO similar to the game INSIDE (by Playdead) that 'similar' falls short of capturing it...a *direct ripoff*. So much so, that I actually searched for whether what I thought was great gameplay & graphics (...the first time around, from INSIDE), was actually just a monetization of a standard Unity gameplay demo template. It's disturbing not only that it [potentially] siphons buyers from a truly good/beautiful/original game, but that it actually had me second guessing the artistry of the original developers. THAT is the truly frustrating damage from ripoff games like this being allowed --let alone promoted by Apple Arcade.

Okay let’s get to the point It has some bugs in movement of the character Would have been better if you worked a little bit more on the sound when i walk I don’t hear anything no matter if i walk in water or on the ground maybe it is my problem for comparing this game with inside🤷‍♂️

I originally got this a game on Apple TV and there’s so much missing from Apple TV. There are a lot of instructions or hints that are left out of the Apple TV version, so I find myself having to do some parts on my iPhone and then come back to my tv. It’s frustrating and this game is so much fun to play on a bigger screen.

This is the most beautiful and Interesting game I wish had more games like this one is fenomenal

Stella CLEARLY gives a nod to Inside with the beginning corn field and barn scenes. It is a trip to a once-beautiful, now dystopian, alien world that COULD have been Inside, pt 2, but involves environments and puzzles usually not encountered while playing Inside. I enjoyed and appreciated this game. Anyone who loved (or liked!) Inside should definitely play Stella!

Let’s start off by saying, this game isn’t as good as Little Nightmares 1 and 2, Limbo or Inside but it gets the job done! Graphics are pretty impressive, it looks sharp and clean. Puzzles and level design is good, it’s simple and something that won’t give you a headache. Game has a few bugs, that will require you to restart the game by going to the menu. Also some saving points are weird, like when I encountered a bug, I had to restart from the menu and it brought me all the way back of the beginning of the level which was pretty annoying. Otherwise it’s a good game, also The controls are shocking well done, it’s something you can get used to right away.

Like others have said, Stela has been inspired by those other games, but don't pass it off as a weak knockoff. It has an awesome soundtrack. There is danger without the gore. Not difficult; I beat it in two nights. Glad I didn’t let the low reviews sway me.

I read many promising reviews and was excited to play Stela. I spent 10 minutes trying to move the wagon and close the gate at the beginning. Sometimes it worked but most times it didn’t. It was really frustrating trying to learn controls while rat things swarm you to death every 10 seconds. Idk what they were tbh cause the colors are so dull you can’t see anything. I really wanted to experience the music and details others talked about but you lost me in the first 2 minutes. For anyone looking for a similar game with far superior controls, beautiful color and details, and incredible music, I highly recommend GRIS+, also on Apple Arcade.

This game is unfairly and simply criminally underrated. If you love Inside and Limbo, you’ll love this one. The controls are no way as bad as some reviews have made it out to be. I kept waiting to experience the issues others did and never had a single issue. Any “control” issue I had was just simply the result of playing a game on the phone with touch screen. This is expansive and engaging and I loved it. I’m a big fan of these sort of games and the puzzles. My one fault is they were maybe too easy and a little simplistic but the soundtrack was amazing and graphics were too notch. Didn’t want the game to end. Much like Inside and Limbo though, it’ll take you a bit to figure out what’s going on. But that’s the joy in playing these games IMO. Give this one a chance.
