Great Start but…
This is the main app I use when reading. Would love the option to highlight and add notes. Love the explanation of various words and their meanings in Greek. Looking forward to more updates!

I updated the app and it no longer works. Nothing is showing except for grey rectangles where words should be. I deleted the app and reinstalled it and the same thing happens.
I’m a seminary student taking first-year Greek. I have used STEP Bible web version for a semester. I just found the app and took it for a spin on my iPhone 6. What the app does, it does really well. Unfortunately, it does very little. There are currently only two translations (ESV and Chinese Union (Simplified)). You can click on English or Chinese words in scripture and pop up the dictionary entry with its original language word. That’s about it. I’m guessing the app is in its infancy and look forward to more features being added so as to become a full fledged alternative to the web version. Especially having interlinears or column views on iPad.
App seems to be just another Bible with strong’s. Nice layout but kind of a dime a dozen. The website seems pretty awesome. I would like to see all features (or most) added to the app. This app would be a great in-depth study option if so. I use many different Bible apps for their individual functions or layout or ease of use. This currently doesn’t add anything that I need or desire, but I see potential…hopefully in the near future.
2 Corinthians chapter 7 wont load beyond the first verse. Also wish I could use other translations in the app beside ESV.
App just searches for the keyword. Nothing else. All results out of order. Every time you click a result the search is cleared so you gotta re-search and scroll to find the result. Don’t bother downloading
I downloaded the app expecting it to have all the features the website has (reading it in the Hebrew and Greek, commentaries, etc.) and it doesn’t. I prefer to use the web version on my phone, since it is fantastic! Lots of great resources for students of the biblical languages.
This is a great app for the books that are included in full. I have not been able to open all of 2 John. Only the first two verses appear and the app freezes up. Perhaps they are working on fixing these issues? It would be a great app if it worked for all scripture.
Love this app but when using in “offline” mode, it doesn’t always load all of the chapters/verses and there is know option to switch out of offline mode.
Are you going to upgrade the Bible app to be used like the web version? The app is rather basic and not useful.
