Step Two

This app features absolutely incredible yet simple and functional design. You can tap to copy the code and then paste on your other device via Handoff. There’s also a Mac app with similar functionality. My only complaint is that you get only 10 codes in the free version and the price is quite steep for such a small utility app. On the other hand, gotta give the developer credit and support them. I would suggest adding multiple support tiers, as in pay whatever you want. Overall, a fantastic app.

Works great on my iPhone and MacOS! I was looking for a new Authenticator app ever since Authy dropped desktop support. Step Two is the best one I found. Bonus: Safari plugin and it syncs across all your Apple devices using iCloud so no need to add the same account multiple times on multiple devices! I love it!

Great app! Color coded for easier identification of website. Big blocks that look license plates on a car make it easy to visualize. Only recommendation is to make the font size of the name a little bigger to find which code to use. My Step Two now has 14 sites on it. But other than that Neil, you’re doing a great job!

I love the app and works really good, I like that it syncs with I cloud and it’s a one time fee to upgrade. The only thing I wish this app could do is separate the auth codes by groups, this way you could have a personal group, work, and family for example. I made it work for now by adding the title of the auth codes to FAMILY, WORK, PERSONAL, then I can do a search and it filters them out by those titles, otherwise you have a huge list of auth codes to scroll through. That’s where groups or folders would be nice. That’s why I gave it 4 starts but other than that it’s awesome. There’s also an iPhone app for it so that’s a nice companion to my Mac.

Thai app is a gem, truly. Great UI and mostly great UX- that being said, two suggestions I’ve been hoping for for a long time. Can you, developers, please make a or some options of complications on the Apple Watch app?? Please??? It seems no 2FA app does this- so perhaps there is a reason why, and I’d love to know that of you can’t, please respond and let me/us know. Also, would you be able to make widgets for both iOS/iPadOS & macOS?? That would be really amazing as well~ then, you’d get 6 stars!! Thank you!

The iPad app works perfectly on the Apple Vision Pro. The sync between my other devices during setup was flawless and automatic.

This is the best 2FA app I’ve used, small foot print and it has iCloud backup. Works seamlessly every time thanks and it’s very pleasant to the eyes !

This is simply the best 2FA app, full stop. The iCloud syncing is seamless, there’s a macOS app and a safari plugin. It’s absolutely wonderful. Thank you so much!

I wanted an authenticator that is synced with my iPad, iPhone and most importantly, Apple Watch. I recently had to set up 2MFA with a website that, said in its help pages, ONLY with google authenticator. I used Step Two instead of google authenticator and it worked! I could use Microsoft authenticator but it has a large app footprint. I prefer Step Two for small installation footprint and ability to use with any of my Apple devices. If I lose all of my devices, I can still buy another apple device and still access my Step Two codes.
