I love that you are able to adjust the volume on Steth IO, it makes it easy to hear murmurs you might miss with a regular stethoscope. Patients also love being able to see what I am listening to on the iPhone screen and includes them in the process.

Steth IO brings stethoscope to the 21st century! When this app is used with the appropriate hardware sold by the company, it makes your iPhone into a high-end stethoscope. You can listen to heart sounds by attaching your wires or wireless headset to it, but more importantly you can visualize the heart sounds as a phonocardiogram. You can also save your exams and share them with a specialist. Easy to use app with awesome heart and lung sounds and compelling visualizations!
