Stezza: Simple Music Player

I don’t usually write reviews but I was impressed with this for two reasons: simple and free with no intrusive adverts. Please leave it that way. Perfect for me. Thanks.

Rubbish !!

Good app but to make it better it what’s missing is a favourites bottombutton so you can play your favourite tracks only while out and about without haveing to look for them

Installed on iPad get a purple screen only on opening

Works fine but doesn’t show my music that isn’t downloaded to my iPhone, anything that’s in the cloud is not visible. Please update it because apart from that it’s great... Update! I found the settings, you have to swipe from the left of the main screen to see them and enable cloud music. My mistake, not especially obvious though!

I use this in my car which has a Pioneer stereo and find it far better than any of the other options. This app makes it far easier to navigate to your iTunes music without having to intently stare at the screen to make sure you tap the correct pixel. Also love the blur option for the tiles which makes it all look very polished.

It may be able to do what I want, create a playlist but by god it isn't simple to see how. Poor interface.

Nice simple interface, but practically useless for me as it doesn't see any music that I have in playlists that are not on my iPhone or in iCloud.

You want a robust, simple, no-nonsense music player for your car - one with big, chunky controls that work reliably so that you can drive safely? Look no further - this is it. The guy who wrote this app got it absolutely right. Create your playlists in your standard iPhone Music app, and this app will allow you to play them. Works beautifully in portrait and landscape. Change visual theme to any colour you like. Robust settings menu is tucked away nicely, and easily accessible, to allow you to make settings of your choice. On-screen buttons let you easily play/pause, change playlist, and skip from track to track, forwards or backwards. Also has toggle buttons for "repeat current track" and "shuffle play". You can run this app and your music will play while you switch to Google Maps for your GPS navigation. When a Google Maps GPS voice direction plays, the music is automatically faded down to let you hear the voice direction. Music then fades back up. I checked out a few music player apps for your dash-mounted iPhone, and this one is the absolute best by a million miles. Do not hesitate to purchase it.

As the title says, this would be ideal on my AppRadio 4. The reason I bought it, sadly it's not supported.... Edit: apparently it is supported, but not in CarPlay mode. And switching between AppRadio mode and CarPlay mode requires a cable change, a phone reboot, a head unit reboot, etc... Nightmare. Summary: great app, would be even better if CarPlay would support it!
