Stickman Project : Rebirth

the only reason why I didn’t give it a 5 star review is because after finishing stage 8 level 10 it feels like there is supposed to be a sequel or a battle between you and the original character, but otherwise it’s a five star game.

So I played the original Stickman Project, and it felt much better than this one. I’ll address aspects from the original game I preferred to this one, some new things I liked, and new things I disliked. 1. The controls In the original Stickman Project, there was this sense of weight every time you swung the weapon. It felt great! That remains in this game, except worse. It mainly has to do with the fact that the sword relies on a button. With the arm cannon and boots, it’s fine, but the use of a button for the sword makes it feel so much less powerful. My solution to this would be to bring back the original sword controls, make the sword button a heal button, and keep everything the same. Other than that, it’s fine. 2. The graphics Could be better, could be worse. I honestly liked how the original looked. The white lab contrasted with the red character looked way more appealing. For some reason, this game keeps the red character on the logo, but makes him white in the game. Overall, I’m also not that crazy about the blue aesthetic of the new lab, but it’s okay overall. 3. The items These are actually still pretty good. I like how you keep them as part of your move set instead of just picking them up. The controls for them are pretty okay, but the arm cannon is a bit inaccurate sometimes. 4. Conclusion Overall, this feels like a big downgrade from the original game. If this recreation just added more things that made the combat fresher, and added a bit more story, it could improve the story so much more. But instead, it just feels kinda disappointing. I hope that you improve the game and rectify these issues.

Game great but a little short and kinda disappointed at the fact that there’s no final boss but that is ok but no endless mode once you beat the game man.😔

this game is really really fun and filled with awesome weapons. levels tend to be a bit short but you should make more games like this one!! good job some problems tho: swinging is incredibly slow, sometimes you just stand there paralyzed in the middle of a battle for no reason, you can only equip new weapons for one of the slots, and the final boss is nearly impossible i also think you just add some sort of healing mechanic or something bc you can only defeat the final boss if ur lucky enough (esp with the random generated level design)

Sword doesn’t even swing properly half the time and the stamina bar for abilities has slow recovery. The first boss has minions that huddle with the boss making it impossible to hit him. If you do hit him you probably got hit as well, but don’t worry because you CAN’T HEAL.

So I was playing this game and thought it was pretty fun and new. Then I reached level ten. This is the first level with the a boss, and since you have limited and weak power-ups, it makes it extremely hard to beat. The combination of the regular enemies and the boss is just too overwhelming too early in the game. Also, the way that the power ups are recharged and gained isn’t clearly established in the game, which adds quite a bit of confusion. I think that if you needed some levels, this could be a really fun game.
