Stop Watch

Version 4.0 adds a seconds.milliseconds clock type option on this already great app. This is a valuable feature for anyone doing time observations using a “running clock” (main timer in the app) and calculating elemental times (lap timer when set to “time difference” in the settings menu). You can also send a CSV data file via e-mail to your computer to manage the information in Excel. It’s an awesome app with great user support from Pencil Busters.

This app is definatly worth having. Few additions I would like to see are: Having a vibration feed back when the lap button is pressed. I can't hear the beep over the race cars. It would also be nice to have the email in comma delimated format for easy importing in applications

I was astounded to learn (in the middle of my workout!) that the native stop-watch on the iPod Touch doesn't show you the total time if you've entered any laps. Enter "Stop Watch." Not only does it show you the total time, but a list of all lap times to compare on the fly, plus the total time when you recorded a lap time. The app gives you the ability to save and email your times which is GREAT if you like to record your times in a spreadsheet like me. Few improvements that I'd like to see: 1) VISUAL FEEDBACK THAT LAP HAS BEEN PRESSED. When you're using this app it's VERY difficult to tell if you've pressed the lap button or not. I would love to see the whole screen flash or something like that to indicate that the app registered the lap. 2) the ability to PRESS THE HOME BUTTON WITHOUT STOPPING STOP WATCH so you can change your music while running. Other than that it's a great replacement and 0.99 is worth it. *** Note: my rating of this app will go down if #1 especially isn't implemented...I recorded 2 more laps than I actually ran because I couldn't tell if I had pressed the button or not.

Been using this for several years in my job as engineer. Great to be able to run many splits, type in notes about certain split times, then export all the results to a CSV for data crunching in Excel.

This is a great app for doing the Postal One Hour and 3000/6000 swims. Under tools you can send/ share your results. It's hard to find in the App Store. Remember it's from Pencil Busters.

Haven't used it in an actual race, but it seems to work well. You can delete lap times that's really nice. I wish it had a way to export the data then it would really be useful.

stopped working with IOS 8. Crashes whenever I hit lap or reset. I tried deleting and reinstalling.

We have been using this as a backup timing device for bike races. Easy to use. One small request. It would be super helpful if there was a way to temporarily disable "Stop" so that a person does not hit the button by mistake. Otherwise a very handy app. Thanks!

What kind of timer does not come with a seconds setting? The lowest measurement is minutes? Unacceptable.

Doesn't do anything the free clock that comes with your phone won't do. Timer won't go down to seconds, only minutes. I can use my microwave for that. This app is less than mediocre masked by fancy formatting.
