There’s currently a glitch that doesn’t allow you to select which format you want to post. Once you tap the format, the app crashes, making the app totally unusable. Otherwise is a great app, i guess.
Recent update seems to have broken it. It no longer uses the review of the movie, just generic text. But a larger issue is the pricing model. It’s a fine app, but it’s not worth a monthly subscription
Sharing a review to stories is a feature missing from the Letterboxd app. I’m glad to have found this one to fill that void. I would love to see some more attention paid to the typography of reviews. Options for sans/serif would be great. The line height needs to be adjusted for easier reading as well. There’s also no paragraph breaks, meaning walls of text that I certainly wouldn’t want to read. Native share sheet support would be nice as well!
I like the simplicity and the user inferface. Good job! 😃
I watch a lot of movies and every time I watch a movie I post it on my Instagram story, now I can post the Letterboxd review and have it look even better, 10/10 would recommend. I can’t wait for the future additions.
THANK YOU GUYS
Simple interface and super easy to use.
Easy to copy your Letterboxd review link to the app. You hit “create story,” and then it brings you right to your IG page where you can adjust the size or position of the review. It’s easy, it looks pretty, and it’s better than what you can do natively from Letterboxd’s app. Y’all should be getting a check from Letterboxd or a job offer!
Well done and I like it so far. My one wish is that the text would not default to centered when it shows up in the Stories.
