unbalanced and pay-to-win
This game has been the same for years, I keep returning every year or so to see if things have changed but it’s always been severely unbalanced and pay-to-win

just lost a draft match i was going to win because the animation took too long and i ran out of time. who ever thought it would be smart to have 10 second animations on a unit card and count it towards my total turn time you need to be put down in a 10 foot hole.
Tag team fights would go a long way.
I’m reading some of these reviews rolling my eyes at some of them so I’ll clear up what i see as misconceptions. I’ve been playing this game off and on for 2+ years and while I do have some gripes I still play. While it’s easy to dish out money for the ultimate deck you 100% DO NOT have to, to get ahead. After a couple months I was able to get into the platinum league and later that year into diamond without spending a single dollar- they give plenty of in game opportunities to obtain gold, rubies etc C’mon y’all, this is literally the devs job, of course they’re going to try and sell you stuff. As far as the game balancing complaints, there’s def annoying parts of the game but devs update the game and tinker with the mechanics trying to figure it out. A lot of these reviews are likely from people who haven’t played for very long or people who’ve been playing for too long and stuck on the “good ol days” mentality. I do have connection issues from time to time that make the game very frustrating but they don’t occur often enough for to be turned off from the game. Like, it happens, get over it. I’ve never written a review before, I’m always too lazy to do so, but I suppose after 2.5 years it’s the least I can do. Thanks for reading
Wanna pick who you attack between two enemies to win the game? Sorry you don’t get to pick😜 the “convert” cards ruin the entire premise of the game, and dragons can just flood the board instantly if you have the right deck, it’s unstoppable. Game needs serious polishing desperately, would be super fun if the mechanics made any sense at all. And when you get out of the tutorial the bots you play against always have the right card for that specific situation no matter what. It’s so obviously rigged it’s sad
Gameplay is fun, easy to dump some time into, I’d say cards what makes this a great game but the UI update would be a good thing. The Deck Building is … Kind of hard to digest Swiping page to page makes it easy to read each card and I respect it however it really discouraged me when I first downloaded the game After coming back after two-ish years I like the idea of the game and don’t plan on stopping playing anytime soon yet as a *casual fan I’d recommend this game to my friends but if I feel like the deck building turned me off originally I know it’d throw them off too. Again this game has many impressive mechanics, they added digestible graphics with reading cards mid game, a vast collection of cards with a few legendary and mind boggling ones too. Hope someone takes the time to read this, I like good communities
This game is rigged. They allow your opponent to keep drawing the same card. They will also make sure you can’t spend all your mana while your opponent can. They will also put you against people who are way above you to stop you from actually progressing. They have unbalanced cards and need to adjust them. The devs actually deleted my last review. If I could rate this negative I would. Don’t play this game it’s not worth the money. The rewards are very little as well
5 years and counting. MY SAFE PLACE I LOVEEEE THIS GAME.
The game is beautiful and the idea of the game is legendary, but I hope you add the Arabic language. Believe me, the game beats above
This is what the stormbound experience looks like: you start playing the game, you collect cards, make your deck, play against other players, typical stuff. But then you hit a wall: it doesn’t matter how good your strategy is, it doesn’t matter how well constructed your deck is, inevitably you’ll play against someone who’ll use the exact same card as you except theirs has 7 power and yours has 5. It’s typical to have entry barriers in any card game, at first you won’t have all the rare cards to build a full deck and it takes a bit before you have a full functioning deck. But here it’s an incredibly larger gap: Cards can be leveled up five times, each time increasing the stats and effectiveness of abilities. To max out a card at common rarity, you need a whole 49 copies. 40 copies for a rare, 29 for an epic, 20 for a legendary. Compare that to your typical ccg, where you need 3-4 copies of a card, and you’re looking at an egregious amount of grinding (or opening up that wallet) to reach a point where you’re no longer capped based on your collection and not your skill. But don’t worry, you can watch an add to get 1 random card :)
