Big Issue North produces a wide range of socially conscious media content, including a weekly magazine sold by people in the north of England with few other means of earning an income. Our team supports vendors to change their lives and achieve their goals.
In order to further support our vendors, and those working for street papers around the world, we created Street News – a mobile solution that amplifies the voices of marginalised communities, giving them a share of the spotlight they don’t normally receive. All income created by your Street News membership goes back into supporting street paper vendors.
