Been seeing people unfairly giving poor reviews bc of bugs like emotional imbeciles. This is currently a new game, maybe be more open minded. Anywho my review! In my personal experience this game is loads of fun— it’s very light hearted & so stylish. Rewards are fair & outfits are so slay. There’s nothing more I could ask from a dress up game. I listen to Studio Killers while playing Studio Killers. 🥰 🎵Let’s not ruin our friendship, WE SHOULD BE LOVERS INSTEAD!! 🎶

The art is exactly as gorgeous as you’d imagine from a Studio Killers game, but that’s currently the only thing the game has going for it. The match-3 mechanics are very limited compared to other games in the genre (ex. creating a T-shape match will only match the top bar of the T rather than combining the whole match), and I find it incredibly difficult to tell what’s going on in battles. Sometimes a simple 3-match will take out an enemy in one go, but sometimes it takes 5+ hits, even when the enemy is weak to the colour being matched, and the power-ups seem to hardly do any damage at all. On top of this, the rating system tends to encourage mashing outfit pieces together more than it encourages making outfits that you like/that look good. All that said, the most egregious part is the energy system. The game does not tell you where your energy caps, how much energy levels/activities cost, or even how much time you have until your energy regenerates. These are all very basic game functions found in both the match-3 genre and the dress-up genre, and shouldn’t be something that’s overlooked. I enjoy this game because of how pretty and whimsical it is, but I find that these basic oversights encourage me to play less sessions for smaller amounts of time than other games, even if this is the game I’m most interested in at the moment. It’s really a shame, and I hope at the very least the energy system gets fixed up soon.

Best dress up game you’ll ever play!

I love this game! I’ve loved studio killers art style for a long time and it’s so much fun to collect outfits and accessories in said style! The only thing I would improve about the app is the ability to sort your purchased clothing by hashtag like you can in the shop. Other than that and maybe shortening the recharge time this app is amazing!

Simple gameplay, cute art, colorful everything, I love the magical girl feel to it all. I do wish there were more body types but I'm at least glad the default isn't skinny androgynous build like a lot of dress up games have. I love all the outfits and accessories and the story line is very funny so far. Solid, would recc.

If you have come far enough to scroll through the reviews I’d say to give the game a try. It’s a candy crush type game that uses the clothing you chose to affect your attack strength, and overall I found it entertaining. There needs to be a tutorial for the candy crush part, but I ended up figuring it out; The ads are avoidable if they really bother you (you can watch adds to get coins or for 5 more turns as many times as you need). Some of the clothing is is awkwardly layered (like socks poking out from behind boots) and when I wear the pixel shorts my characters butt hangs out (but that may actually be intentional it’s hard to tell ). But the only thing that really bothers me is that there’s an energy bar that drains every time you battle whether or not win, and you have to wait for it to recharge.

This game is absolutely adorable and gives off some severe magical-girl vibes. I’m still getting into the story and it seems goofy and interesting enough. All of the customizations, accessories, expressions etc are so unique and clearly a lot of love was put into this game! Keep up the good work! ✨❤️

love studio killers, love the work put into this game, hate that it glitched after i fisnished the first world and i couldn’t do anything. i uninstalled and reinstalled something ive done on so many apps, and boom my purchases of the starter pack and astrologer pack were gone . i should’ve checked to see if there was any sync feature (which there isnt) before, but the game was so glitched i probably would've gotten stuck before i could go to the menu. disappointed

Seems to have a lot of bugs to work out. It won’t load often. Sometimes things clip through as well and often clothes won’t load either. I am very sad because I love the band and the cherry insta account so much. It would also be better if we could see when the battery recharges. Editing for an update: It’s unplayable. It freezes at every level. As soon as I got to the second phase(and right after I payed 7 dollars for an outfit set which I never do) it stopped working completely and I never got to use the new clothes. Everything I try to load doesn’t work. It looks like they tried to fix some bugs before from other reviews but clearly it has not been worked out. I even tried to remove the app and reload it but I of course lost all my outfits and had to start over and it’s still bugging. I love the band and the art so I really hope it gets sorted out soon.
