Misleading!
this app is an absolute tragedy to this generation and also one of the reason this era of kids is so dumb. Other such apps like Chatgpt or Nerd Ai are also to blame. Keep in mind I myself is also apart of said generation being a middle schooler myself however I could be lying if I were to say I am rather intelligent for my age which is why it is utterly baffling and it frustrates me so much to see other kids using all these apps to cheat work and skip school. Those said kids are also the ones who believe skipping school is okay as long as you pass without actually regaining information. Something else that scares me is that the world will soon begin to favor these shortcuts and when the time comes ( for example, a sick patient is unable to care for themselves so they go to they doctor. However the doctor themself also has no experience being that they themselves cheated through school and just wanted a good paying job!) nobody can help. Most people will not even notice the signs that this app is a failure! Another example being in an ad they so disgracefully put on a social platform. They depict someone writing on a paper the expression “5+5x5” with an Ai voice (again with Ai taking over) in the background challenging the watcher and the person in the ad “let’s see if you are good at math” ,or something of the sort, and as it stops talking I immediately answered to myself “well it must be 50” ( math is one thing in particular I don’t favor but I dabble in) so it takes the ad a second and the person answers “50” on the paper and I cheer to myself and I expected the ad to say “ you got it right but instead I was met with a red animated “X” mark and a buzzer sound effect. At this point I was questioning whether the app misjudged the question. Because In the expression 5+5x5, you should put it like this: 5 + (5x5) or 5 plus the product of 5 and 5. But most would read the question as (5+5)5 or five plus five multiplied by five which equals 125. But I let the ad play on to see it would make the same mistake again. So after that the screen switched to show another expression this time in an online format like a test (another nod to cheating) which said 2+2x2. So in the the same format as the last question but with 2’s. So again i answered to myself, this time the number “8”. And Lo and behold the app said the answer was 6. Now for those of you reading who genuinely think I’m just wrong, I will break it down again: (2+2)2 which is 8 because 2 plus 2 is 4 and 4 x 2
