Disappointing and under researched
Not sure what the point of having a “healthy eating app” if the recipes are barely reviewed by health professionals. It says they are nutritionist approved, but the nutritionist only checks off if they are dairy free, gluten free, nut free etc. There is a recipe that includes 1 Tbsp of salt which is 3x the daily recommend allowance. Who let that slide? I have never seen a recipe with that much salt. The recipes seemed very specific and tailored to the creator of the app. You are trying to target more than yourself and you need to create recipes for everyone. She also gets rude and defensive when you try to give her constructive feedback. The app claims some of the articles are written by a dietician. The dietician has yet to be named, whereas the nutritionist and naturopath are easy to find. Questionable copyright activity in the articles, even from the free ones you can tell there is plagiarism and inaccurate citing of materials. You can’t quote a study, not name the study and omit parts that you don’t like. It is disrespectful to the researchers and breaks laws. This app isn’t worth your time and money. I highly recommend buying apps or cookbooks from people who are actually educated in recipe creation and health. Sarah has no qualifications to make a recipe collection and this project makes it so clear.
