Great round trip experience with Sunwing friendly service flight felt safe both ways ty Sunwing

I went there on a bachelor party trip with 6 buddies and everyone got sick there. The food was so bad that we might as well went to Cuba. We went at the end of May and the resort was dead in regards of night life. There was nothing to do besides sit at the bar and drink for the night life. I would not go back to ANY RIU and I am pretty sure they don’t wash the cups at the bar but they just rinse the cups with water. The only part that was enjoyable was the beach as it was better then expected.

Flight to Cuba was great except for the bus ride to terminal on arrival and departure. Disappointed that my pre order dutyfree for arrival back to Toronto was not completely filled as 2 out of 3 items were out of stock and I was charged for the entire ore. Was told that I would be credited but have not seen it yet. All in all vacation was great!

May be the pilots or the flight not sure ?? Every time when the flight lands it’s like an action movie climax and gets applauded by the passengers as a note of thanks for landing safe after a roller coaster journey! Crew can pretend atleast to be polite.

I had to request a wheelchair for my way back from Varadero and I did it at the last minute But my request was treated swiftly and adequately and was serviced at the airports both in Varadero and in Montreal . Top service Friendly agent really appreciated .

I have been traveling with Sunwings for the past 4 years. always went with groups of 13-23 people( friends and family) . Royalton Negril has very nice beaches and a good pool. However, we had very bad experience with sunwing services. They arrange a pick up from the airport to the resort. The driver was very rush. He drove 80-90km when the limit was 50km/h. He didnt slow down when the car was turning. We have 6 kids and 5 seniors in the bus and most of them vomited. It happened again when they dropped us back to the airport on the check out date. Moreover, our flight back to Toronto at 2:35pm and because of the size of our group, sunwings already arranged us the private bus, i don't understand why they asked us to leave the resort at 8:45pm ( almost 6 hours before the departure time) . the resort is 1 hour 20 mins from the airport. The sunwings representative was available for only the first day to introduce herself and advise us for excursions. After that , she never answered our questions or concerns. I had problem to find out the transfer time to the airport and mgs her a night before but she ignored it. I cant believe that s how sunwings works in Jamaica

All timings were good, good communication with text alerts. All crew and staff I encountered were friendly and helpful.

April 4th or this year. We booked a Sunwing vacation from Toronto to punta Cana. Our flight was delayed for over 7 hours. We were told many reasons for this delay. Each hour it was a new excuse. Culminating with lack of staff to board the flight. Something I had predicted to my travel mate when we were delayed the second time. Do you think we were offered compensation. Like the brochure states ? Nope. DECLINED. no reason. Just NO! So. That did it for us. No more Sunwing. (And I realize they are finished this year anyway.- And it is quite evident why. But also. NO WestJet ever again. Parent companies are awesome aren’t they ? ) Thanks for making us lose a day at our resort. With zero regards. It was such a great experience (please read that with extreme disdain and contempt ) we especially loved sitting at the gate for 7 hours waiting patiently, for delay announcement after delay announcement. So fun. 1 out of 5 rating. Would definitely not recommend ever.
