Superhuman Mail

I signed up for a one month trial. Enjoyed the product. At the one month mark, not only has my credit card been charged BUT I now cannot login AT ALL because my account “isn’t active”. Funnest part is that you kind of need to login to manage the account, so I am stuck. This sort of flaw makes me now uncomfortable with giving Superhuman so much access to my data. I would appreciate someone reaching out to me to fix this awful situation. This is a horrible product in terms of account and permissions management. Most apps at least allow you to login to manage the account settings if nothing else. I will be telling the public figure who advertises this the feedback too so they too stop promoting.

After an early play with the nascent Superhuman, I’ve come back after three years, now to love this product. Aside from the keyboard powerhouse on Mac, on iPhone this tool is designed to run at speed: from server, to screen refresh, to gestures. Once you understand the various UX peculiarities (eg Splits) the tool is blazing fast to use. I’ve been using Spark, which is reasonably good (Customer Support is great) but I’ve had a few too many bugs that I can’t live with. Also speed has been an issue. The only downside: I can’t unify my accounts on Apple and other email servers. I’ve conceded that for business Superhuman, On Google and/or Microsoft, is the way to go.

After downloading the app and signing by giving permission to the app to access my google or Microsoft account, you will have to wait for them to “approve” you!!! God knows when that will happen. Who would do that! Deleted the app and removed permission from my Google account… If everything was transparent and legit we should’ve been able to access the service on the spot like many other email apps/services. Something not right here!!!

Download and deleted within 2 minutes as soon as we figured you need to wait for them to “approve” you.

Don’t waste your money and time with this. This is nothing more than a glorified Skin for Gmail and offers nothing helpful but keyboard shortcuts. If you’re looking for something actually decent and value for money, spark and missive much better options. Mobile app is also severely under developed, particularly for what they are charging.

Unable to access and makes no mention before downloading that there is a cost of $30 per month.

Makes you do surveys. Waste of time.

Product is well advertised on the App Store. But makes no mention it’s early access only and costs $30 a month. Poor access to information, wasted my time downloading and having to go through surveys and go to their website for more info.

I have signed up for Superhuman at least 3 times in the past 3 years hoping for the improvement in its functionality. It has improved in features that are already present among other email clients and its AI feature are subpar at best. I truly hope superhuman lives up to the price they charge yet it is a really long way to go.
