Why no ApplePay?
The app is fine, I guess, but why no ApplePay compatibility to make payment that bit easier?

Ok I might be lucky enough to find some new chargers that are FREE on zap map & having spoken to both Natasha in the office & Tom on site, I’m happy to report these are FREE today 14/5/24 I’m not sure how long that will last & they’re 4.8kw so not the fastest, some have peculiar parking restrictions but as long as you’re with your car you’re NOT parking in my opinion otherwise people filling up with petrol are parking! #chargingisNOTparking if you want to pay more you pay shell recharge ubritricity on the same street , it does take a pre authorised amount from your credit card but the receipt says 0 gbp . The only unfortunate situation is that the chances of parking next to the lamppost is very remote as it’ll almost certainly be ICED with a resident permit parker which is a shame , but thank you for the freebie - I met some lovely locals too patric #greenstripshow
Very clunky app with poor payment functionality. No incorporation of Apple Pay.
There is absolutely nothing positive to say about the app or the company. The charging system does not work neither does the app and there is zero customer service. Customer are technical trouble shooting staff for this company. It’s not fit for purpose. Never has been.
Truly awful.
Have tried calling customer service twice, they are unable to reset any account or help with the issues I encountered. They asked me to send an email and await a response which is unuseful when waiting for my car to charge on the street. Have tried on several devices and same issues arise with Phone number verification. Unable to create an account because of this and had to checkout as guest.
I can’t create an account, I have to re submit my card details each time I charge. I can have verification codes sent to email/phone but can’t then progress into a fully fledged account. There doesn’t seem to be a more functional web portal, which can often be the case, so i must use a fairly strangely bare app which sometimes can’t even display the charger I wish to use.
I’m concerned about the climate and local air quality. So when it came to buying a new car and i noticed the lamp post chargers i bought a plug-in EV. Only thing is chargers don’t work - in a week only managed to charger once.
As others have commented, this app is worse than useless. Tried in vain to get a charge going on a street in London. There are several of these companies operating independently and they’re letting EV users down - each with their own app and interface, each really buggy and not often working.
Connected my car to a lamppost charger and was immediately charged the connection fee though charging failed to take place. Disconnected and retried immediately but was charged a second connection fee but charging did eventually happen. Tricky to use. SureCharge = £5.55 for 4hrs 27 mins ShellRecharge = £2.93 for 4hrs 33 mins Podpoint = £3.87 for 4hrs 52 mins
