Unique and must have
There are a lot of synth apps. I have yet to find one that sounds like this. Must have. It’s just fun.
SynthScaper ist nicht kostenlos (es kostet 17.99), enthält jedoch keine In-App-Käufe oder Abonnements.

Please do not abandon project, ask for more money. People will gladly pay.
As others have said the learning curve is a little steep but just messing with all the controls will result in some nice happy accidents. One question I have as I had noticed recently that the “special edition” has auv3 support. If we want that functionality do we need to shell out another $5 or are you planning on bringing that functionality here? Thanks for all your work, I own all your other apps that aren’t SE too and they are just as fun and there is so much to explore :)
I have Soundscaper and Fieldscaper, along with a million other synth apps. I wasn’t all that eager to get this one in addition, but boy was I wrong! I just spent a couple of hours literally playing with it, and it’s one of the most amazing synths I’ve ever heard. I can only barely comprehend everything that’s going on, but it doesn’t matter. Just tweaking the endless controls, and pushing the random button now and then brings up vast quantities of beautiful weird sounds, musical and otherwise. Bravo to the programmer! This is truly genius!
New update with new features.Synthscaper just got even more experimental.
Please fix bundle price, I have original SynthScaper. It’s asking $7 when le original price is $5. Please make it below 5, then I will buy. Thank you
It's an obtuse , archaic sample player. It's powerful if you want to take the time deal with It's idiosyncratic design. I tried and then didn't.
Pros: - Layers upon layers of user control - A room full of analog/digital audio tech in your hand - Developers still update and improve app - Multiple feasible applications - Relatively cheap for capabilities Cons: - Harsh learning curve - User can’t create own UI color palette If you are serious about making music, sound effects, or audio based environments, this app is one of the best things you can get without spending a ton of money limiting yourself to a desktop and a room full of analog machines. The amount of freedom this app gives the user is amazing for a mobile format. If you are an audio engineer, music maker, or just someone trying to burn some free time, please try this app out and give the developers some love.
Easy to lose track of time while playing with this.
Dude! This Ap is totally deeeeep. Like most of Mr. Vasiliev’s applications, this one is very deep. It is difficult to compare it to anything else. It approaces the art and science of sound synthesis in a way that simply does not compare to many others. It is essentially a sample-based instrument, with 3 “oscilators”, each with 3 layers where each layer is a separate sample. Each layer can have a separate sample/waveform. And because the layers are all sample based, they can produce any sound you can capture or create. Moreover, each sample can be highly mutilated using the kind of bit-shifting that is similar to all of Mr. Vasiliev’s ther aps (SoundScaper and FieldScaper). LFOs and ADSRs are abundant (6 of each per ocillator, a total of 18 LFOs and ADSRs). Capturing samples is as easy as it gets using AudioShare. Audio quality is excellent and SynthScaper responds quickly to commands, making it performable, though getting down to the nitty-gritty of sound manipulation will not be easy in a live situation. There are many performance-related features: a manually controllable spatial interface places each “Oscilator” in its own location - left/right and front/rear. The keyboard can be mapped to many scales and you can create your own variations. Vertical and horizontal movement on the on-screen keyboard can be used to control various parameters. The arpegiators are a marvel. There are 3 separate arpegiators - one for each Oscilator. They can function like a conventional arpegiator but, consistent with the depth of the rest of the Ap, they can also function as a highly interactive sequencers as well! The Downside: There is nothing inherently bad or wrong here. But this is not an easy synthesizer to master. The interface is rather unconventional and learning it does not come easy. But that is the price you pay when you go to the depth that this Ap goes. You just have to be willing to go to the woodshed with this one. But that is time well spent and the rewards are well worth the effort. Some things that would make this GREAT synthesizer even better: I would like to see the spatial controler come under “voltage control” - LFO or sequencer or perhaps a recorder that will retain manual movement performed on the screen. SynthScaper integrates well with AudioBus and InterAp Audio. But making it available as a an Audio Unit would also open it up to the expanding range of AU controllers, such as the Rozeta Suite or the many AU sequencers now on the market. Fin
