Synthy - Text To Speech Reader

The ability to scan books using the phone's camera is so convenient, and the AI recognition of the scanned text is very impressive, unlike anything I've seen in the past.

I'd say this is a proper game-changer when it comes to reading text aloud. The advanced AI recognition technology makes scanning books an effortless task.

Besides the regular reading of texts from different sources, the app also allows me to listen to text I've typed, which is incredibly convenient to re-check my notes.

One of my favorite features is that the app can be used in the background, this way I can continue listening even when my screen is locked while I doze off.

After a couple of months using Synthy, I can say it has transformed my reading experience. This is what I always recommend to anyone looking for an app to read texts aloud.

I have tried quite a few of these apps, but this was the only one that gave me the possibility to adjust the reading speed to my liking. Just for that, I wouldn't use the others.

Says it will take 30 hours to read 49 words which is clearly inaccurate. User interface is flashy but slow also takes like a minute for it to extract only 3 pages. I’m not interested in fiction. This is labeled as productivity… I do not read fiction for productivity. Also the text highlighting is distracting not sure why all the text to speech apps do this but this one is probably the best cleanest out of all the apps hopefully developers can improve upon it and make it #1.

I got the free 3 day trial of unlimited reading but the app still keeps asking me to upgrade. I did get the chance to read a few minutes from a pdf but it’s now stopped and add for the upgrade keeps popping up. Is this not an actual example of your premium service or is the premium service going to allow me 5 minutes of reading a day? Aside from that, in the few minutes I did have to try this app, the voice is decent, choppy, mispronounces words that are very simple even (read is red). I’m cancelling my “free trial” id imagine if the advertisement of the product doesn’t work as intended then the product itself will be buggy. Not going to risk it

I can speed up the audio faster and it saves on exactly what line you're on so you don't have to scroll back down when you close it. It's just perfect!
