Benutzerbewertung
Die App ist in Dominikanische Republik noch nicht bewertet.
The Take Control console app for iOS works pretty well now as of August 5th, 2023.
I appreciate the pull-down quick access keyboard functionality from the top. It’s implemented in a way that doesn’t take up much screen real estate.
It connects to my client system and gives me quite a robust set of tooling and it reconnects on reboot. What’s more is that it’s the first mobile remote takeover app that I can stomach.
This is awesome for MSPs or IT pros on the go. I believe this would be best experienced on a large format tablet given the nature of the app.
Keep up the great work. Your almost at 5 stars for me personally. That is many miles ahead of where the app started development.
Horrible and never updated
How is it that we pay Solarwinds thousands per month and they give us this awkward app that doesn’t allow side movement? It’s useless and rarely updated. I’ve complained multiple times about it and they’ve done nothing to resolve the issues. We all need to use our phone to remotely connect and this app makes it impossible. Toting a laptop is required if you subscribe to NAble or Take Control. Look at other solutions if you want convenience. This is by far the worst remote control app available and we’ve used them all over the last decade.
Cannot Login w/ 2FA
Cannot try or use this app, tried from different phones with the same result. I type my credentials and prompts for my 2FA code in which once typed in and click on login, it will attempt to log in and stop.
Works well
Seems like the previous reviewer didn’t even try.
This works very well - as well as any remote management product works on an iPhone screen. Yes, it’s small because the iPhone screen is small - you can zoom just like any iPhone app. You don’t get a mouse because the iPhone doesn’t have a mouse - but you can treat it like a touch screen or have touch pad like control. Everything is there. I can connect to any of my remote computers from the road, the baseball stadium, whatever and provide remote support - including chat and system controls, registry editing, forced reboots … all the same control provided by the PC/Mac client for Take Control. Good product and stable.
Counterproductive
In a world of IT, especially in 2022, where technology brags about being at its peak, and this company gives us tools so that we can be fast and efficient as well as cutting edge to serve our customers and IT, when you open up this app, really much can’t do anything except look at it with a magnifying glass as it Has to stay small, and at that point, no reason using it at all. They probably will say, well it might be his phone, I don’t think so. I have a 13 promax with 256 GB memory, brand new, super fast, and still doesn’t work
Absolutely horrible…
Keyboard doesn’t translate keys correctly. Remote control tool bar gets in the way and has no options to move or relocate. If you have the keyboard open, it is impossible to see the entire screen or move to the bottom of the screen.
April 2022, iOS 15.4.1
Crashes as soon as you try to access a system.
Why doesn’t @ work?!?!
You can’t type an @ either on the soft keyboard or hardware on iOS. Why not?!?!?!!?
Works Well & Looks Good
As a MSP who frequently utilizes TakeControl, I have to applaud its app counterpart. It fulfills it’s core functions and does it in style without compromising functionality like you may expect. Keep it up!
Fix double click / add mouse pointer
Please fix double click. Double tapping does nothing. Also, please add a mouse arrow for more precise navigation / clicking. Clicking the wrong thing in the IT world can be disastrous.
The worst
I can't believe this company would put out product that you use to support Windows machines and yet there is no windows keyboard that you can use during the remote session. Absolutely appalling! I just updated the app and now if you have a long name for the computer you can't even see the whole name unless you click on it. All this app does it slow you down and make you very unproductive. I have called them in the past to ask them about a change on the keyboard and here it is almost a year later and still nothing. I have to tell my customer to wait until I can get back to the office to help them out as this app is totally useless.
