Frustrating and Unreliable Service
I recently had a very disappointing experience with the ‘Take Me Malton’ app. Despite entering the correct address, the taxis arrived at the wrong location multiple times. The app frequently changed arrival times, stating a car and driver would be there in 1 minute, only to adjust this after a few minutes repeatedly. On the day of our booking, the app changed the car and arrival times twice. Even after calling the company to confirm the correct location, the taxi did not show up where expected. Frustrated, we walked down a cobbled street to find the car ourselves, and my wife unfortunately fell and hurt her knees, hands, and wrists. We informed the driver and called the company again to report the incident, but the overall experience was distressing and unsatisfactory. This app and service seemed unreliable in our experience. I recommend caution if using this service until improvements are made.
