Talisman: Digital Edition

Love the game, and have the digital version on pc. Unfortunately when I try to log in to my nomad account on the iOS app, the app crashes. *Edit: the app no longer crashes when signing into my nomad account and my progress and dlc are now synced across platforms! While there are still some minor bugs my experience is much better now, thank you! I have changed my rating from 2 to 4

Nomad games did a good job to bring back this classic on digital. It’s nice to have this huge game in your pocket. The game is quite simple but fun and I like the good old fantasy depicted here. Plus, not dealing with a long physical setup is appreciated (you can face this problem with the physical version of the game depending on expansions you have) Side note : I had a problem with expansions I bought on the previous digital version (asmodee) : I can’t bring back them in this new digital edition. That being said, I contacted Nomad Games and they resolved the problem quickly. Very kindly. Thank you very much guys !

My additional purchases linked to my account frequently have to be restored if I don’t leave the hateful Game Center turned on all the time. (Edit: Even with the Game center on, it -still- requires me to relog into my Asmodee account because it is apparently too incompetent to remember my purchases.) The interface crashes or becomes unusable frequently. I suspect the increased number of add-ons has made the game increasingly unstable. (Whether you get those add-ons or not.) If you have a lot of cards interacting in late-game, it has a tendency to reach a point where it crashes every time you launch it. It is a great time-waster...when it works, but it needs a lot of work on stability. Definitely better than sitting down to a physical copy of the game. (Again, when it works.) The base of roll-and move is super tedious as a group board game and works better here when played solo on the app when you can fast forward through computer turns. As a board game it’s seriously outdated, but as an app, it’s a good time-waster. I just wish things were competently programmed so that it was reliable. Countless games have been terminated because of instability. Additional item that desperately needs changing: one of the characters is The Gypsy...this is actually a slur, and should really be renamed/reworked. An addition and change to rating: the game has now taken to telling me that because I am frequently re-loading my purchases on the same device (due to it failing to remember the account link) that I have loaded the game on to too many devices. I am so ^*%# of struggling to get this game to work.

It's a great transition from the board game. Some of the rolling seems suspect as I played two games back to back with same characters and same rolls where coming out even when using fate(reroll) Update: Downloaded the update. Some of the objects are Incredibly when used by an AI, such as Dragon Charm. It's quite annoying. It would be nice to have an indication of what is keeping you out the portal of power. Sometimes it ia confusing to figure out.

I have this game on my phone but it’s so much fun I figured I’d pick up a copy for my apple devices too.

Some glitches still happening, used exp characters ie:(Dreadknight) not using exp board (City) couldn’t get warhorse because warhorse’s come from city board space. Most final finish endings at Crown of Command about to declare the game winner, app auto kicks me out of the game. Lose all Game Center awards, and in-game achievements. Please fix these problems so approximate 2 hour game play not wasted.

Please allow background audio again. I used to listen to podcasts while playing but recent versions stop all other audio playback.

As soon as the game starts an AI turn the settings screen starts flashing and the game becomes unresponsive. Tried several times to restart, start a new game or use different characters and nothing works

Spent a lot of money on in-game expansions which the game no longer recognizes, hitting the restore purchases button does nothing. I will never purchase a game from this company again. Enjoy my money.

I will never give this company my money twice. Your recovery method for my games purchases should like directly to my apple purchases I paid for in this game. I bought all the add on for the entire game and now they won’t load. This is a money grab by asmodee digital to rip you off. It happened again with new engine Wiped my account data off my iPad and iPhone This is beyond incompetent
