Tape

Downloaded for nostalgia sake but appears to be just an overlay of the Apple Music app. What I find objectionable is when I swipe up to close the app it doesn’t stop playing. I have to open it up and stop the music within the app so they must keep running in the background even when you think it it’s off!! Who knows what else it might be doing. Deleted!!!

Looks awesome

Took me back instantly to my 30 years of using cassette tapes. I like seeing the cassette spindles and spools whirring away. So far no complaints. A good, fun app. Here is an off-the-wall idea ... randomly mess up the tape so you have to get a touchscreen stylus to move the cassette : ) Only users of a certain age will get the Bic Pen reference

Great app. It would be even greater if there was a way to remove the "tap to load…" text.

Great little app! Very nostalgic. Brings back a lot of memories!! One little graphical glitch however.... the tape head retracts when the music is playing and extends (makes contact) to the cassette when it’s paused. This is reverse to how it actually worked. Otherwise, a terrific app!!

Just like the real thing! Great graphics and motion! Addition of play controls along with a clock was a nice touch. I recognize my old tape brands, even! Nice job on the app!

I am thoroughly enjoying this retro app. Like the old Walkmans, it doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, just charming simplicity. Nicely done.

Experience is ridiculously realistic complete with sound effects. It reminded me of some features of cassettes long since forgotten. Downside is the unfortunately small pool of people who remember those days.
