tastytrade: Invest & Trade

I’ve had two instances of losing a lot of money because I could not close out of options. Not ideal for 0 DTE options. Contacted support and they blamed it on me. Very disappointed.

When I go to the positions tab, I cannot sort my positions by dte, p&l, symbol, etc. iPhone 13 Pro. Everything else seems to work okay

My mobile app keeps logging off. I contacted customer service they said to delete the app and reinstall it and it’s the same thing.

As they continue to evolve this app and add really cool features, the basic user experience is getting worse. It crashes if you exit to another app and try to go back in. It also pauses/mutes anything running in the background when you open it, or a sound triggers like the trade noise. Overall I love tasty but the iOS app is borderline unusable for me at this point.

I love tasty however the new update causes the app to crash repeatedly. Please fix fast!

The app has recently been extremely slow to load accurate option pricing data so my account net liquidation value is often wildly inaccurate. Also, now when I open the app it cause my music/podcast to stop playing - very annoying.

As often as the iPad app is updated it is probably not possible to test it thoroughly, but considering it is used for investment, it should be. The latest iteration crashes on such a simple operation as request to show transactions from the previous days. As soon as anything else other than “yesterday” is chosen, the app crashes (iPad app, the iPhone app works). There are other problems as well (not updating timely) is one of the most glaring ones. Not useful for its intended purpose.

Great team and great app. They answer if you call very happy.

Tasty trades will not allow you to play orders on certain stocks. It is “set to closing only”. Why would I use a broker that doesn’t allow me to buy what I want with my own funds.

The people behind tastytrade are great, the platform is easy to use. Futures and margin options are great as well. the only downside is that the P&L is inaccurate for multiple spread trades on a ticker. Also, they don’t trade the SPX after hours. Hope these couple of issues get resolved soon. I am a big fan for the past three years.
