Was amazing up until I updated my phone and it kept saying network error even though there’s nothing wrong with my network

TCP products are a nice UK company using products with base TUYA OS compatibility but do not like to accept they are part of the TUYA ecosystem. This is a problem as they refuse to accept other products with built in TUYA WiFi compatible chips work with their software. They clearly want people to only buy their products but their app (Developed with the latest TAYU base code accepts all products with TAYU WiFi chips. Sadly this is self limiting, without them being happy to fault find issues with other compatible WiFi products from other manufacturers limits the use ability of their app. While you will miss out on TCP products advertisements it’s better to install the TUYA app if you have problems with other WiFi products as TCP will state their app has nothing to do with TUYA and if you have problems with other products then thry are unsupported and they ront care.

Just gone to use the timer function it’s in seconds, why can’t it be hours and minutes?

I’ve been using this app and these lightbulbs for more than one year now it works brilliant no problems at all. Everything is connected and all good and lifespan of the product is brilliant. I would recommend it. You cannot connect it to Google Well, I’ve not found the way yet But except from that, everything is good

The interface is unintuitive and complicated. If I want to turn on my TCP radiator for only an hour it takes 35 button presses. So to set heater for an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening is 70 (yes 70) presses. Was this app tested by users before release? I doubt it.

I bought a TCP smart WIFI mood lamp and it won’t connect to this app! Please help?

Used to be great simple and straightforward to set up use and change times. Now absolute crap so over complicated and seems it can’t just be set up to put one set of lights on and turn them off for one period in a day, and allow me to reset times as desired throughout the year. And how much of my time have you wasted with your updated pathetic app - way way too much. You will get recommendations from me to my friends - AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE!

First impressions were good but when we tried to connect to another person’s phone in the house the first connection was lost. To get it back I had to reconnect the original phone and of course it disconnected from the other phone. Very disappointing.
