Will not record you username and password in iPhone. Will not keep your Face ID very long. Very frustrating.
You can check your balance and loans ,deposit a paper check, and move money around. You cannot transfer money bank to bank. That has to be done on the website. App often says “Unable to compete request. Try back shortly.” It happens so often that I’d bet my life savings I can’t connect at any given time. I usually just chance it being approved or declined with online orders and check the website if I really need to know my balance.
The sign out timing is way too short. I was in the middle of writing down information and it signed off and I had to enter my password again. And the face recognition went away and I had to go to my computer to get my password.
The Technology Credit Union iPhone application is a constant source of stress and frustration. The card application integration is clunky and often adds a frustrating delay and multiple retries just to get in. Then the real problems begin. Implementing the card controls to attempt to block and control all of the money sucking charges on one side to it arbitrarily blocking valid transactions. Frustration of being stuck in a drive through or a supermarket checkout with an order rung up and ready to pay, only to have it denied over and over. Check in the app, $-good, turn off all filters, blocks, limits; denied, denied, denied. Rest application, reset each individual switch then save. Check the settings saved. Over and over, minutes pass, frustration builds, honk honk. Finally after 5 minutes of this torture maybe it works; maybe I have to try to use another card. Nope, not enough in the other account. Ordinarily I keep the TechCu app settings so they block the scam charges. Nope, the sketchy charges can get thru the blocks often enough, but not the valid charges where I am attempting to pay face-to-face with the card and all of the blocks showing disabled. I can’t be the only one “lucky” enough to have these problems. Disaster, fail, broken.
I’m looking over my bank account & my paycheck from work is not there. I checked my portal from my employer and it shows it was deposited into my checking account with Tech CU
It used to work fine, but for the last few months app reports “Invalid access token” or “Unable to complete request. Try back shortly.” about 95% of the time. I usually have to log into the website instead. If the app (and associated backend infrastructure) isn’t going to be maintained, it should be withdrawn instead of subjecting customers to this frustration.
If it’s a shared account, both people should be able to access the online account without having to share a login. Like other credit unions and banks have!
Since the recent update mobile deposit says I need to allow the app to use the iphone camera. However it never asks permission to use the iphone camera so it’s impossible to allow the app to take photos. Which means no mobile deposit and I have lots of important checks to cash. I’ve asked for help, received none. What’s the point of having this app if it’s main feature doesn’t even work.
It’s always easy to get what I need or questions answered when I call for help. So nice to speak too a representative that knows the ways of my Cr Un… never in a hurry and at 77 it makes me feel like they want to help me until i understand. Thank you employees for all you do.
I have to delete and reload the app a lot!! Some days I can’t access the app no matter what I do. Not helpful since I want to mobile deposit my paychecks because there are no actual branches that are convenient to go to! Has been happening for many years
