City of Newton, 2087. Genetic engineering is the norm, the addictive Trance has replaced almost any need for human interaction, and an omnipresent AI named Central powers the city.
CEL agents Charlie Regis and Max Lao are investigating a serial Mindjacker who is tapping into the neural wiring of seemingly ordinary citizens, stealing their knowledge and leaving them dead. An agoraphobic net addict named Latha Sesame might be the next target. But when Charlie's past comes back to haunt him, he and his partner find themselves on opposite sides of the law, with Latha’s fate in the crossfire.

PC Gamer - "An old school point-and-click adventure with a captivating story, strong characters, and a rich, well-realised sci-fi setting." 80%
Rock, Paper, Shotgun - "Set in a semi-dystopian future, the game features multiple protagonists exploring a tale of genetic engineering, AI overseers, mysterious mind-hacking murders, and overlapping online and offline worlds. It is, in that sense, delightfully pulp sci-fi. But it's also a delicate story of individuals, personal struggles, and most of all, a nuanced approach to complex future-worries."
Adventure Gamers - "Technobabylon is a beautiful, compelling game that fans of the cyberpunk genre will devour" 4/5
GameSpot - "When the going gets tough, the tough sometimes take a fishing pole and start fishing in a bloody Jacuzzi stuffed with a mutilated body. That's, at least, the lesson you learn in Technobabylon, a point-and-click adventure that's set in 2087 in a city where a powerful AI controls and observes all." 8/10

Excellent
A well-told story and an enjoyable point-and-click adventure game. It’s also very refreshing to see a game that includes a trans character whose trans identity simply isn’t that big a deal and doesn’t affect the plot. Well done; highly recommend.
Wadjet eye are the best games
This is no exception. Amazing game
Unique
An original, complex story is what makes this game stand out. Sometimes the solution to a puzzle is a little obscure, and that can get frustrating, but overall the game is well done with good voice acting and art work, and a long play time.
Another masterpiece from Wadjet Eye
If you’ve enjoyed any of their other games like Gemini Rue then you’re gonna love Technobabylon. Diverse cast, gripping storyline, excellent voice acting, beautiful artwork are some things you can expect. The characters are truly diverse: people from all racial backgrounds, men and women playing prominent roles, and even some prominent characters who are LGBT. Amazing job—Looking forward to your next point and click adventure!
AMAZING
wadjeteye never disappoints!!
Loved it
Some puzzles were pretty hard, but I loved this entire game. The storyline is incredible, rich and intricate. Especially for the price. I thoroughly enjoyed this, I hope someday they make a sequel. The voice acting is too-notch. No one annoyed me unless they were supposed to, which is rare.
Will not be disappointed
Another amazing game from the developer. Had to use on-line walk-throughs at times, but nonetheless one of the better games that the developer has made. Highly recommend.
pixel cyberpunk goodness
Rarely write reviews but this game has so much heart and care in its cold, cyberpunk future. worth a play for anyone
Fun, almost completely intuitive
I bought this ages ago, just recently had time to play. I love a game that is challenging but intuitive (I.e. not such random leaps that you need a walkthrough to progress). This game was 95% if not more that. Tbh there was only one time I felt the leap to an answer to be beyond one’s natural observation. (Final scene final door lock). I was lazy the other couple times, made sense in hindsight. Do not rely upon the tap/hold to show you all interactive options as not all scenes include all options. Not fast paced, kind of a reader, but interesting throughout. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. FYI I am a casual gamer who prefers a point and click adventure, with story/logic based puzzles to a platformer or battle experience.
Great game but 1 issue
I’m at the station in the scene where you become the moving robot. I’m playing on an iPad so the movement is dictated by pressing on something that is a option. I come out of the autopsy room and need to make a left toward that waiting room where the girl and boy are. I can’t select anything near that direction that will move the robot toward the room. At this point I am stuck. I’m unsure how to move as I can only move to a spot where something exists for me to look up. Any ideas?
