Teeny Tiny Trains

I so love this game. Simple concept. But as the levels evolve it can get mind bending which I love. Only complaint is that it needs more levels. I bought the attic and have completed that. Hoping they will create more content. If you crave a challenge, get this app.

If you liked the game trainyard back in the day then you’ll like this as it’s very very similar.

When opening the game a purchase screen pops up and has no way of exiting out of it. Extremely frustrating because the game is great & I really want to play it

I really enjoy this game, however, I have reached a roadblock as I am unable to tell train colors apart. I have tried all three colorblind options and unfortunately all blur the colors a bit too much to my eyes. Would greatly appreciate an option to customize the colors ourselves, or even have shapes (red = square, yellow = circle, and so on). Of the levels I CAN play, they are great fun. A perfect blend of relaxing and challenging. Would love to give a five star and purchase the “full game” + DLC, hopefully one day!

See lots of people complaining about the draw mode: just use the place mode, it’s easier & plenty smooth. This is a nice way to introduce logistical problem solving to young people. If I had one suggestion: more than one piece of background music so it doesn’t get too monotonous. If you need something, hit me up :-)

Perfect balance of fun and difficulty

This game has about the same gameplay as an old 32-bit ios game called trainyard, information you can get from trainyard.ca. Although I appreciate that someone recreated the game, I much prefer trainyard’s gameplay loop, depth and artstyle. This game’s artstyle, while it makes sense and is a nice callback to the kid’s wooden track trainsets, is hard to read. There’s low contrast between objects, and on top-down mode it’s even worse because obstacles are small and the same color as the background from that angle. On trainyard the artstyle is very unique and personally nostalgic. It’s clear what everything does and is and the color and duplication mechanics add for a lot more depth and unique puzzles. The sound design in trainyard is also really fun to listen to. For these reasons (and a lot of bias and nostalgia for the original), I will wait for trainyard to be remade and buy that instead of this game. Again I express my appreciation for this game somewhat extending the legacy of trainyard, but I have a special attachment to trainyard that this game cannot recreate.

Game is fun. Unfortunately for me the game is ruined by the controls. The draw mode is tough to draw corners and the placement mode is clunky. I feel like in placement mode I should tap the type of track I want to place and be able to place that track repeatedly. Then if I want to switch tracks I just tap a different type and so on. Right now with having to drag it out just doesn't seem the best.

THIS GAME IS SAUR CUTE. IT CAN BE CHALLENGING BUT ITS SO FUN! I LOVE ALL THE DETAILS (´♡‿♡`)
