Terminology Dictionary

I love Terminology. It’s great as a dictionary, but its must-have feature (for me) is the ability to “favorite” the words I look up, so I can revisit them to learn them.

Really appreciate this application. It’s extremely complex in a good way. Answers everything and more. I thoroughly recommend this app to everyone of all ages, it has so much to offer - much more than I ever anticipated. If in doubt download it...my hunch is that you will not be disappointed.

This application is awful, how on earth an application paid for crashes like this. I will have to report this app to the apple apps store for its removal if something is not done as soon as possible.

I bought this at full price. It was clean and worked well. But now it has adverts and you have to pay for a pro upgrade. How is this not a bait and switch ? When other devs do this they have the courtesy of grand fathering in the early, paying customers. It’s actually not even about the money - it’s the principal.

My first stop for looking any words or terms up 😀 👍🏼 Has replaced dictionary app, but does so much more. Also a great iOS citizen, with split screen, 3D Touch etc

Perfect app for every time stumble across a word that is new to me. Very intuitive interface that is a please to use and great range of resources to draw on. Well worth paying for.

…I don't think so!!! I paid for this app to remove ads, and now they're back, unless I pay again. Appalling treatment, disgraceful behaviour. Deleting, I'd rather use a paper dictionary than support this kind of app!

As a blogger I've found Terminology to be an extremely useful aide, not least because of the close integration with Drafts. My only complaint was the interface. Now, in version 4, the look has been completely revamped and the addition of a share extension makes it easier to use from even more places. A must for anyone who writes anything on their device.

I'm really sick of authors taking their customers for a ride this way. I didn't pay for an app with advertising. Now an update has given me no choice. There are better ways to go about this, agile tortoise. Launch a free version with the in- app purchase, and keep the full app for those who have already paid, or prefer buying software not loaded with advertising and trackers. This model, I hate to say, is a quick way to alienate your early adopters and fans. Tortoise has done this twice to apps I have paid for. I like their apps, but I'm done; no more am I going to support this treatment of existing customers. I'd happily tip jar, but this is a dismal way to thank your supporters.
