Termius: Terminal & SSH client

Best terminal app i ever used, Periode.

I am blown away by how well tmux and vim works in this!

Update - 3rd of january 2024: In combination with me buying a heavy-duty new iPad Pro with substantially more power AND Termius trying to make their app more stable in the latest version, I can now say, that it is MUCH more stable, but still under heavy stress when dealing with a long output. But now ai can create multiple connections to my VMWare ESXi server, replicating ZFS to a VM NAS, and leave the program running when I lay the iPad down to sleep. It is typically still running these important things in the morning. BUT I have lost the shortcuts above the keyboard, which have been moved to the sidebar. It is NOT working for me. The Ctrl or ALT buttons are not self-releasing, as the should, so I must manually turn them off, after each ctrl-key-combination. Annoying! So I raise my evaluation to 2 stars, because the remaining issues is a problem, when You use the app many hours each day. Old post, that took them years to fix: I use SSH professionally and a LOT!!! So far Termiushas been the only real client, that supported all the features that were nice in the daily handling of AIX/Unix/Linux servers. BUT The main problem for me, is that it is very unstable. I have found out, that if your terminal are ‘noisy’ and has a lot of output, then You will most likely have the whole app crash - not only the terminal session. I have experienced more than I can count, that all my terminals (sometimes 5+) are crashing because of this annoying behaviour THAT THEY HAVEN’T FIXED SINCE I REPORTED IT 2-3 YEARS AGO. And their command suggestions are not aligned with the command You are typing. Today I was typing: ‘gstat -I 3s -p’ and because I have made it a snippet, it was suggested to me after typing ‘gs’. When I selected the chosen suggestion I ended up with ‘gsstat-I 3s -p’ = misspelled. Annoying and I am just waiting for an alternative, because the developers are not doing anything about it. A few years ago I wrote a similar review, and was contacted by the Termius developers. They made me make them a list of the problems, so the could fix them. Nothing happened, and no feedback to me. A lot of the errors in the program are years old and it seems that Termius is just a money machine for them. SO my suggestion is: buy an alternative, if You are using iPad like me or if You want an app that is not maintained. I guess that the developers will contact me again and I will update my review with my experiences.

Love this app for ages. Never used other terminal clients. But now after some time now , I cant access my local network at all on any local servers ! If I connect via VPN from outside my network, everything works fine. Locally dont work , and I Havent made a single change. Help :/
