It’s the worst app I have ever used. Most times it does not work

The only issue I have is it doesn’t have face recognition so I have to keep putting in a passcode. Otherwise it works perfectly well and I am please with it.

Frequently fails to connect & forces a re-login/password when phone is balance in hand & trying to kill the alarm ! App slow to respond. Face recognition still requires a key press which is annoying. It should open automatically.

The App does not work properly. The entire system is a waste of money

This, much vaunted, update to the previous version has had little of significance done to enhance it since launch. Yes, it works, but it is almost child-like in its execution. It is slow over mobile signal connections, and it can flash up meaningless errors at random for no reason. The graphics are poor, animation is unnecessary, you have to hunt around for aspects when trying to make a change, but the most serious delinquency is the recipe backup/restore which is simply not there. For clients who use automatic functions, recipes are the only way forward, but there is no way you can manually save recipes for restores or reversions. The recipes are saved in the panel, but you cannot get to them using Wintex or the cloud either, so you are left looking pretty stupid in front of your clients if you cannot remember how a system was set up for automatic functionality. If you are trying to help a client who has come to you as their installer has gone out of business, it gets even worse. Time has already passed for updates to this, and promises made on the forum have yet to materialise. Texecom is good gear, let down by a small, but very important aspect - this app.

The app is ok in that I can turn the alarm on and off easily with it. It was worrying that as a master user I could see everyones pin codes. That seems like poor security. The alarm itself has a very clunky control panel that is awful compared to the others that I have used.

Since changing iPhone app no longer allows login with Face ID. In fact, the orange Login with Face ID button does not even appear on the Home Screen. Why is that? How do I fix this?

1. The notification sound is standard so same as WhatsApp etc. Given significance it sound be different like Ring. 2. There is no way to select switch notification type on or off. Alarm/intruder notifications should be on but setting or changing alarm sound be optional. 3. The earlier analogue version activated phone calls, speach dialler technology is really essential for this App Equipment.

Now Apple have done a new updated, this app does not work. Why won’t they update it????
