Text To Speech Audio Reader

Worked for me pretty well one time. After this, it would not allow me to do anything because the keyboard is stuck in the up position. What a huge oversight rendering this app useless.

Choosing another voice doesn’t work. No way to change settings.

They keep on repeating a sentence, not sure if it’s a glitch or not.

A few adds here and there but very effective very simple!

Okay, let me start off by saying, I LOVE this app. However, I do have a few issues. I've been using this app for months now, and I love that it's free and that, for the most part, it has no ads. But, my biggest issue is that it doesn’t keep my place, and I can’t import text. For example, if I wanted to read something off AO3, I can't import it into the app. Additionally, it will no longer let me select all; I have to manually copy everything and then paste it into the app. And then, I can't pause it because it will keep repeating the same thing over again. You can't fast forward or back up; it's just, in general, very buggy.

(On ios 13) The moment I try to edit anything written or pasted into the text box, the narrator voice begins skipping, reading each line 2x or 3x in a continuous loop until you force the application to stop. Additionally, you can’t make edits to anything because the moment you try to place the cursor, the keyboard is right in the way and there’s no way to minimize it. Large selection of really bad robo-voices that all sound like they were developed in 1981. Uninstalling and Reinstalling the app did nothing to fix the problems.

This is a great app; when I’m rushed for time, it allows me to take a long article and listen to the article on my way to work. Effective way to not miss some important articles.

When first downloaded it worked well. Then I changed the speaker and now it reads every sentence or statement twice making it unusable. Please fix!
